All, Been loving my 2019 Reserve II 2.0 FWD since December 2018. No issues other then a minor rattle which I corrected thanks to guidance from this group. Great fuel economy and performance. Currently has just over 16K on the clock, mostly highway miles and it's not used for commuting. Last week the oil change reminder appeared in the Lincoln Way app, no surprises as it had been almost 1 year. Made an appointment at the dealer, no problem. I checked the oil before a short trip last Saturday as I thought it a good idea. Dark, but not a drop burned. I noticed the coolant reservoir showed slightly below the "MIN" mark. Minor thing I thought, I'll tell the service mgr to check it while its in for the oil change. Get the call this afternoon from the Lincoln Service manager & he tells me there is a known issue detailed in TSB 19-2346 and the engine will need to be replaced due to coolant in the cylinders. Needless to say, I was a bit shocked. No smoke, no rough idle, no loss of power. Clearly it will be covered under warranty and is schedule for the work the week of 10/26. Just curious if anyone else has had an engine replaced on a late model Z by a dealer and if the work was satisfactory. This is a lease (good thing!) and so i'm not overly concerned about the longevity of the vehicle for myself, but this seems like a pretty big deal for a car with relatively low miles.

Hello Everyone. I am new to the forum and looking for ideas on custom mod's and general customer satisfaction with MKZ's. I am considering installing a performance chip in my 2012 3.5L MKZ. Has anyone installed one? Have you noticed any difference in engine performance/mileage? Thank you!!

2011 MKZ non hypbrid, NON AWD I am getting P(something I forget) but its cam shaft, or crank shaft POS sensor bank A, AND cylinder 4 misfire, sounds to me more like a coil pack, just over 55K miles, want to change that cylinder out with another and re scan code to see if the cylinder changes, and obv if so replace that pack. if not then perhaps the cap / crank position sensor(s) want to go the easiest route first. i have a 50 50 chance of the coil being on the easy to access side so haha. My tags expired today( birthday haha) so I need to get the e-check - check engine light :/ thanks in advance. if possible perhaps location to where I might go online for the repair manual? may need to know how to get to the back and change the other side if need be, or the cam / crank pos sensor.
