I blew the rear deck speakers in my 17 reserve and asked an MKZ facebook group I'm in for replacement suggestions. A few people on there told me that because I don't have the Revel audio that those speakers are "wired as subs" but I can't find anywhere to confirm or deny this online. If I want to replace/upgrade them, do I need to buy 6x9 subwoofers? Seeing as I blew them rather quickly after buying the car I don't want to just replace them with another set of factories.

I have a 2017 2.0t awd mkz and I absolutely love it. 3 months into owning the only problem I have is finding aftermarket mods for it. I'm looking for more turbo noise not to worried about exhaust since it is a 4 cylinder and I don't think there's any exhaust that will sound good. I would like to find a company that makes a front splitter rear diffuser and a small spoiler. Lighting upgrades and definitely audio upgrades. Below is my mkz so if anybody can help point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.
