  1. First post! Just purchased an MKZ for wife's commute to work. Beautiful car. I noticed an unconnected hose and could not find where to reconnect so in my research I see the wrong air cleaner tube is installed...part# AH6Z 9B659 A. What does this hose actually do? There are no codes, no stalls, no rough driving at all! Everything is smooth as butter. There has got to be a reason (even if it is mistake, I'll accept that) why the wrong part is on there and the hose is unconnected. It was drawing a vacuum so I put a 5/16" inline fuel filter to prevent any dirt/contaminants from entering the system. Question: should I keep it as is or order the new part and possibly change the vacuum and ultimately affect engine performance? Thanks.
