  1. Nice car. I personally wished they hadn't changed the grille, I like the previous model better. The rear lights are reminiscent of the MK VIII.
  2. Cadillac, schmadillac. Those cars lack anything that appeals to me. They claimed they were "The Standard of the Word", but so many of them were just junk.
  3. I don't have any feelings about this either way, but I don't see how making Lincoln a separate company will do anything to affect it's sales or image. It's been associated with Ford so long (and Mercury...as in See Your Lincoln-Mercury dealer....) that I cannot see how anyone is going to be impressed with Lincoln being a stand alone company. Having said that, I'm on about my sixth Lincoln. My earliest was a 1964 opera door Continental, my latest a 2011 MKZ hybrid. My favorite car was a MK VI, black with lots of chrome and fully loaded. It really makes no difference to me which corporation produces the car. The car speaks for itself.
  4. My 2011 MKZ Hybrid is without the navigation screen so it is the base car. Nevertheless, the owner's manual says it has "smartzone". This features enables the car to know if someone is sitting on the passenger seat and automatically turns on the passenger's temperature control knob and temperature setting display for that side of the car, making it a dual-zone temperature system. With smartzone enabled, if no one sits in the passenger seat, only the driver's temperature knob and temperature setting are enabled, making the car a single temperature zone. I have tried (according to owner's manual instructions) to enable smartzone and cannot get mine to work. It goes through the motions, the display blinks as it should, etc. at the right times, but the car never seems to know whether someone is sitting in the passenger seat or not to change the climate control back and forth between single zone or dual zone. Anyone have this problem??? I guess I'll have to take it to the dealer if no one has any ideas. Thanks.
  5. I am a new owner in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I bought a new 2011 MKZ Hybrid in March of 2011. I ordered the car without any options, as I have always found Lincolns to be very well-equipped, even the base car. The car is black with the parchment interior.
