  1. Does anyone know how to tow/move an MKZ with a completely dead battery? The service consultant at Lincoln of Troy mailed me a procedure to manually override the brake shift lock actuator. I don't think this process will get the car in neutral in a battery totally dead condition since putting the GSM in override mode looks like it requires electricity. The link below describes the procedure to shift a jaguar into neutral in a battery dead condition but I couldn't find anything yet for an MKZ.   2. I'm a bit disappointed with the combined gas mileage as well. I have 4,000 miles on the car. The 2.0 eco is supposed to get 26. I drive 55%/city / 45%hwy mix which is pretty much what EPA considers combined. I typically get 23.5 mpg in the summer and 22.5 MPG in the winter. By way of comparison, my 2007 fusion FWD with the 3.0 V6 was rated at 21 mpg combined. I typically got the same gas mileage as I am out of the MKZ, 23.5 summer & 22.5 winter
