Hi can I ask how you removed the white residue from the black rubber stripping after it had dried on? I'm trying to clean it off of mine and it's not coming off.

After shutting down the AC and turning of the engine, I heard a winding down or "whirring type" of sound coming from under the hood. Has anyone heard this too and/or would you happen to know what's causing this; should I be worried/get it looked at?
