  1. Thanks drolds1, That may be in the cards. I have researched for specs on this and there doesn't seem to be any dimension specs that I need to continue with this wish list. I can find info on features, etc but no dimension or info on mileage/performance other then it will have a 3.0 engine in the hybrid version. Anyone have other insight on this?
  2. Cannot say I have had any issues with that and my 2014 MKZh now has 65k on the speedo and I use adaptive cruise control daily. I regularly do not turn it on right after I start the car but will usually about 5 minutes into my trip. You do know there is a minimum 12mph (20km/h) speed for the system to work? If you did not get an owners manual, you can download one, the info on the Adaptive Cruise Control starts on page 192 in my version (printing 2) The ECO is an optional acceleration method and can be controlled (on/off) from the information display (Page 198) The collision warning system (option) is not tested by applying the brakes and is active above 5 mph (8 km/h), see page 210 and the sensitivity can be adjusted
  3. Do you have any idea when pricing and availability will become available? I am truly in the market right now for a hybrid SUV and I loved my MKZ
  4. Well they are reordering the CJ5Z-9G444-B Sensor - Exhaust (other was installed about 3 weeks ago) I think they are just guessing, the car acted the same way before and after the sensor change so I fail to see how another new sensor will solve the issue. We shall see 2014 MKZh
  5. This is so frustrating, off and then back on again, Autozone confirms the same code again (P013A), dealer appointment set for Thurs (I hope it stay on so they can find this)
  6. I have used both at my dealer, I see no difference
  7. In fact I no longer see any way to change any of the profile information, I added my MKZ type to my signature line for now Back on topic..... of course the Check Engine light went out again on its own....
  8. It did say it prior to the forum format change.... I actually went looking in my profile for where "my mkz" could be listed but do not see a way to repost the vehicle type.
  9. I wonder if there is any connection between this and the other intermittent issue of the vibration felt as the gas engines starts shutting down as it is changing over to the electric motor (hybrid operation). They could never give me a reason of why this happens. here is the link to that thread
  10. Thanks for the info, I did run it by Autozone when this first happened and they gave me the same code but could not offer a repair part, they told me to see the dealer. I will stop by them again this afternoon to see if the same code turns up.
  11. This started back in September, Check Engine light came on and so I made an appointment (one week out) light went out 2 days before the appointment. one week later came on again for 1 day and disappeared. Third time was on again for a few day, so I made another appointment (10 days out). Light went out again but I kept the appointment and they said it was a faulty O2 sensor but none in stock, finally got it in 3 days later and they replaced back on 10/15/18. Light came on again today (now this is becoming annoying), have to wait again until next Thur for appointment.? Back on 10/15 they replaced part CJ5Z-9G444-B Sensor - Exhaust for a retrieved code PO13A. Also stated that no exhaust leaks found details say this is the Catalyst Monitor O2 sensor. I am not noticing any performance or odd engine issue. Does this make sense to any mechanically minded out there?
  12. Welcome, I love my MKZh now at 65k
  13. I got the warning on my primary fob about after about 4 years. Please note I don't use the fob buttons much, I just keep it in my pocket. As I recommend in my Feb 9 post above, I changed both batteries in both of my fobs.
  14. Yes, Looks like a fishing exhibition .... MKZs were not involved in the recall as I understand it, my vin is clean
  15. Watching this thread, my 2014 MKZh has 65k on the speedo but last check report (last week) from Lincoln was still in the green for everything
  16. I have always found that the standard rim size gives the softest ride which is why I never upgrade to optional (larger rims)
  17. I would also check for a loose plug/connection under the seats, it's been know to happen from vacuuming ?
  18. Very nice.... I have been looking for a hybrid SUV to help support my charity bike repair work (my MKZ is really not the right car for this). I would love to get some pricing on this I had an explorer years ago and loved it, one of the best SUVs around
  19. Smokestone, Are those the instructions from your 2010 vehicle? They do not make sense for a 2014 that JonMayo lists in his info as the radio doesn't match. In search through the 2014 manual online, there are no compass reset instructions that I can find. John, I do not know if the Master Reset would help you but surely other will chime in with their thoughts on that
  20. I just had my fuel door changed because the hinge sheared off.... nothing that I know hit it while open.
  21. Jim, I have had mine since new and never an issue, very similar handling to my previous Lexus and BMW
  22. The new battery is in mine for the last few months and clock still loses time by a few minutes over that period. IOW - No change with the new battery
  23. I wonder why they changed that.... previous years do not use a button to open the door, just pressing on the door opens it. ?
  24. Maybe a minute or two over 2-3 months but nothing how you are describing your issue.... even when my battery was dying ?
