Perhaps there are no updates at this time, but it should show last time checked for update was and in my car indicates 03/11/2017@11:09AM.

Here's what I did to check for updates for sync3. Had to buy an extender for WiFi, in the house the connection was excellent , on the driveway poor to fair. Connected extender via the instructions as given for Netgear Model EX6100, connections and password same as getting Netflix on your TV if you have Netflix, and once you do this you will not have to do it again. Connected extender to outlet in kitchen and checked my laptop and saw 4 lights on Netgear and laptop showed connected and secured to Netgear. Went to general settings in car and found scan for automatic updates and scanned. Showed last scan for updates 03/11/2017 @11:09AM (can't remember exact wording, but I assume no updates were found as of this date. Although {https://owner.lincoln.com/tools/account/sign-in.html?logout=true}showed last update confirmed on February 11, 2017. Hope this helps.

Very similar to what I ordered back in November, (same color exterior as well as inside) received around Jan21, has everything minus sunshade and panoramic roof, got ultima sound pkg including painted pocket wheels and what a difference from the mkz 2014 that I traded in with regards to sound. A suggestion to make it look sharper, Tint windows all around 35%, Invisible Bra, had this on the 2014 and never regretted it so I had it done on the 2017. Ordered from amazon , invisible bra kit for door sill and was able to get this protection for all four door sills. Touchup paint White Paladium Gold also from Amazon. You will like those exterior automatic folding mirrors especially in cramped areas

I have the ultima system and the sound even with sirius is a heck of a lot better then the sound coming out of my mzk 2014 which i just traded for a 2017 mkz hybrid. I recently made a cd of Reba McEntire "Sing it Now" and the sound with a volume of 9 sounds great in this 2017 mkz. Yes the sound from the 2014 was tinny and i calibrated when i had that car for HD Radio and then left the same settings for sirius. Still could hear the tinny sound but it was improved somewhat and had to live with it unless i wanted to R&R sound system which i didn't do and as the saying goes "bad sound in, bad sound out"

I put in a special order in for a 2017 mkz 2017 hybrid just before thanksgiving and it took about 7 weeks before I received the car 2017 MKZ Hybrid Reserve selected all options except panoramic roof(stayed with moon roof) and no rear shade. 2014 MKZ did have panoramic roof, didn't like it. Traded a 2014 mkz hybrid and the deal was something that was very reasonable to me and something I couldn't pass up. Posted pictures in photo gallery My impression so far with only about 310 miles on it is engine seems quieter then compared to the 2014 mkz hybrid Tried Auto Hold and was impressed, although foot was near the brake "in case" Sound system with 20 speakers unbelieveable and the volume was only set around 9 Although no VHR report is available although Ford is aware that people are wanting it back, so who knows what the next software will bring. My insurance is statefarm, I now have drive safe & go. Here is what I encountered about 1 1/2 yrs ago , while travelling from Florida to Warner-Robins GA via I-75 , I would be off route, told me to get off the interstate and get back on or loss of satellite for a few miles and then everything would be okay, and while in Florida a ford/lincoln dealer told me to go back from A6 to A5 navigation maps and that would solve the problem and he even gave me an A5 SD card since he had heard other people having the same navigation problems as I was having. That did not solve the problem, so I googled and can't even remember now, but there was an update for the navigation software, not the maps and since there was a ford/Lincoln in warner-robins, ga ,they searched for updating the software and at first they couldn't find the update and when I showed them that there was an update on my cell phone , they searched and did update the navigation software once they were able to locate the update and i have never had the problem come up again. I THINK the DEALER might have to do the UPDATE and NOT YOU Hope this helps

I totally agree with you since I had nothing, leather bra and now the invisible bra, yes in bright sunny days you can see the lines so big deal, but the clear bra seems to be the one where the gunk comes off easily and I have even seen on one car where dip your car in plastic was on the car totally and I always thought that was just for the wheels.

As I indicated I have had both and any day of the week I will go for an invisible bra, and the gunk, or whatever you want to call it when you remove the leather bra shows marring of the finish and not to mention the border between leather bra and car, common sense says remove leather bra in the winter to avoid salt damage and then you spend some time cleaning up where the leather bra was situated on the car. I have had an invisible bra for the past 2yrs (MKZ 2014) and just go to a car wash in the winter/summer or do it myself and never had a problem, wash/wax no effect. The close up was done intentionally so you could see a clear bra, but I don't think most people go looking for stuff like that and as Myron pointed out it was obvious to him he could see the clear bra, was it the showroom lighting, was it the installer? I thought I would update this since last night, today was a SUNNY DAY and after leaving Kroger's I noticed as I approached my car, I could definitely see the line where the invisible bra ended on the hood. So if you go bareback on the front of the car and say you live near NEW ORLEANS, have you encountered LUV BUGS, better get that garbage off your car quickly or the finish could be ruined, so if you live further north you will still have bug crap but I have noticed with a invisible bra, that gunk comes off easily and if pebbles/rocks mar the finish, yes touch up paint will do the job with a toothpick, but then the front of the car might look like it has acne.

These 2 pics were taken with a Nikon 7000 taken w/out flash, a telephoto lens 200mm was used and on the first pic that you see , I guess I was about 6-7 feet away just as you would pass this car without looking specifically for anything on the car. The pic that showed up was definitely blue so I added yellow and magenta make it more realistic and the second pic definitely was up close and i'm sure you can see the line, again I added yellow and magenta to make it more realistic and then adjusted I hope the concrete so that they somewhat matched. I hadn't washed and waxed the car for at least a month and let the rain take care of the car. Point of all of this is that most people don't go looking for detail say like an invisible bra, but this sure beats a leather bra because things get trapped in the leather bra and then starts to mar the finish and there is definitely a border that shows up where the leather bra began and ended when you remove it. View both pics from a reasonable distance from laptop/desktop and which one is more obvious and remember car color is smokey quartz not black.
