Yes the email said they will still be able to provide service.

My Lincoln dealer also sells Subaru, Mazda and Ford. I've been notified that they are giving up their Lincoln franchise. Oh well!
-
They said in the letter, if you have to close the doors multiple times for it to latch, then its possible the door could open while driving.

Car Has Developed a Vibration/Shake at Certain Speeds
JoeBrown replied to ChuckM's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
I guess it could be frustrating. It didn't bother me much because it was under warranty and I always had a loaner MKX when they had the car. Oh, the service staff at my dealership were just great.- 65 replies

Car Has Developed a Vibration/Shake at Certain Speeds

arthurmac I dug out the Repair Order Detail to make sure I had the correct number. Here is what it says: "Customer states check for vibration between 45-50 MPH without brakes applied." 1 KIT - CLUTCH REPAIR CV6Z*4A232*A $352.28 Remember, they replaced a number of other parts before this resolution did the job.- 65 replies

A 300 HP AWD non-turbo engine is not an economy car.
-
Thanks for posting this. Ran the VIN on my 2014 and it's not affected.

In my 2014 I activate the AC and Auto settings. I then set the temperature I want to maintain and forget about it.

Text msgs not displaying in 2014 SYNC2
JoeBrown replied to RealGomer's topic in Audio, Navigation and SYNC
I don't have an Iphone or an answer to your specific issue. As far as SYNC is concerned... I have a 2014 MKz my Motorola phone is android. It displays and will also read my text messages flawlessly.- 10 replies

Scott, I have a 2014, 3.7L AWD (non-turbo 300 hp) I have tried BP 87 and 89 each for about a month. 87 was terrible. 89 was better but, I still had some issues of the type you mention. When I went to BP 93 (my station does not have 91) all the little issues went away.
-
I had that problem with my 2014. I seem to remember there was a dealer fix or perhaps it was fixed in an update, but not sure. Artie, drolds1 had the same issue with his 2014. Perhaps he can remember what fixed it.

My car was still under the factory warrantee at the time. It didn't cost me anything and I got a loaner car (MKx) when they were working on it.- 65 replies

I am lucky that I have a few really good HD Radio stations (WNEW HD-2 is one) in my area. I have satellite radio but don't really "need" it for music.
-
The longer you have it, the more you will love the color.?
-
I got it from the Lincoln vendor, Here Maps.
-
I received the new SD card (A10) today. It works. Needless to say the installation is a no brainer. ?
-
I just received notice that there is a new navigation map available for my 2014 MKz. The SD media card is labeled A10. The price is $149.00 with free shipping.
-
I agree. On my 2014 (non-Hybrid) the battery failed after four years.
-
Oh well, that forum has been hung up for a good period of time now.?
-
I went to the NHTSA site and ran the VIN on my 2014 MKz 3.7L AWD and It shows no recalls. That should mean that I'm in the clear right?

2014 mkz trunk won’t open battery drains overnight
JoeBrown replied to Lavelda's topic in Lincoln MKZ Hybrid Owners
The battery "died" today in my 2014 MKz. I bought the car new and had it for 4 years 9 months. It appears that four year is the life span. To say that everything goes nuts when the battery is going is a understatement. -
The original name was Lincoln LS Owners Club.

As of this time the LLSOC Forum is back up and running.

I have not been able to log onto the LLSOC site for a couple of days. Has it gone to the "Happy Hunting Grounds"?
