I'm trying to find some way of adding illuminated emblems to this car. I can't find any for sale so I'm thinking diy.. Has anyone removed the rear emblem? I was able to take the camera out, but it looks like there are 2 pressure fit plugs and adhesive holding the emblem on. I'm thinking that if I can get the emblem off, I can separate it and tuck EL wire inside of it. I might run white and red wire, tie in one inverter to the brakes and one to the plate light, giving it a switch back. I think that DOT only allows rear facing red lights, so maybe red is the only way to go.. Anyone tried this?
