  1. Just wanted to share some interior mods for y’all! Earlier this year I wrapped the headliner in suede and did the starlight headliner! I also hand stitched a steering wheel cover. There’s a few more mods but the car is stored for winter while I rebuild the engine. Just wanted to share to inspire some of you to start modding your Lincoln!
  2. Yeah actually you can get a rice crispy tune, you can get it through different tuners. When you purchase your SCT most sites will also have a tune you can buy for like $150-250 depending on how custom and modifications you have. When you purchase the tune you get an email from the tuner and they’ll ask to share the car information, mods list, vin number etc. Then you’ll get a “base tune” which is just marrying the SCT device with the car and then your ready for tuning. Then you ask for say a “91 octane tune” or the rice krispy tune. You’ll get a file download it onto the SCT device from a laptop. And bam your set. Depending on who tunes the car you’ll have some revisions, which is essentially driving with the tune ínstaled and your laptop connected to your SCT device, that’s called “data logging” you send the file from your drive to the tuner through email and they will revise it to make it better, usually pushing more boost. Haha sorry for the rant, but maybe you and some other members will find this helpful!
  3. Unfortunately not! I’m actually in Canada! Haha but if you search online and social media I’m sure your bound to find someone, took me a while to find one too but it was worth waiting and searching rather then the eBay side skirts. Not to say they aren’t bad BUT I do love the custom look and no plastic at all
  4. Good call, yeah I def expected to take off the door, if it’s just the light bar and it’s just switching then it should be straight forward, but your right it could always be something else more complicated like the wiring. Thanks for the help though now I got a better idea Of what to do. thanks!
  5. Hey guys just wanted to get some advice, I have a 2013 2L ecoboost, the ambient light on the driver door has stopped working. I wanted to buy the part and replace myself by I cannot find it anywhere. If anyone know the part number or anything like that let me know please! I’d rather not pay a few hundred dollars to fix a simple led strip I can replace myself. appreciate any tips!
  6. Hey man! Thanks a lot for the love! so the side skirts I actually had custom made, I found out there was a local guy who did custom aero(found him on Instagram), sent him measurements and style of wing and he hooked up the skirts and rear splats for about $150. And the wheels are by a brand called Remen and they were the “fast” series, good price and I’ve had them for about 4 years! Best thing ever to keep the wheels and wrap was ceramic coating.
  7. Love that your tuning the car, I’m glad people are noticing these cars are luxurious but can also be taken to next levels! No need to remain fully stock but that’s my Opinion. I don’t have the livernois tune, however I do have the SCT tuner with a 91 octane tune from unleashed tuning. if you don’t have any upgrades to the car like intercooler, downpipe or cold air intake you won’t be seeing a lot of crazy power. The “off the shelf tunes” will def bring a bit more torque from low end boost since these are turbo cars after all. Be careful with the rice krispy tunes tho, my friend had it on his 2.3L ecoboost mustang and within 3 months he cracked a piston, he did 2 step a lot as well. get a good tune that you can actually data log and get a couple Of revisions to make sure your running safe boost.
  8. Hey everyone! So I have a 2013 with the buttonless infotainment centre console. I am looking to switch the centre console to an updated one with buttons from 2014-2017 Contrary to most people I actually really like this system, however I have a friend who has the Tesla screen upgrade and it is amazing, the Tesla screen can only fit the centre console with the buttons as it comes with a new plastic trim to accommodate the Tesla screen. has anyone done this switch from buttonless to buttons? Appreciate any tips!
  9. Well to answer in the simplest way, I have installed about a year ago a K &N cold air intake, and it really Does sound AMAZING! I will say tho, it is purely sound and not much performance even if paired with a tune. Also you gotta be careful of heat soak since you lose the stock air box and the filter will essentially be exposed. Remember the 2L ecoboost is the same platform as the Ford Fusion and Ford Focus St. Lots of mods to do for the car!
  10. I like the list definitely agree most of those mods if not all are gags, some do make some nice noises but generally don’t improve performance. BUT the Cold air intake along side a front mount intercooler and a 3 inch down pipe are necessary as “full bolt ons” in order to go big turbo. mom actually rebuilding my engine with forged internals and full bolt ons. Pair that with a tune with the SCT tuner and it will be a lot of power gained and ready for big turbo. I do also have an exhaust cutout so it can have a good flow but also not big neighbours when needed lol. Not sure about the 3.7 litre V6 platforms, but remember the 2L ecoboost is the same as Ford Focus ST and Ford Fusion and you can modify this platform ALOT
  11. What’s going on everyone first time on the forum, sharing my MKZ build, 2013 2L ecoboost. This thing is wrapped in 2 tone wrap, the full top is embossed with the Lincoln pattern. It’s got side skirts and rear splats, with satin gold accents. Don’t have good pictures yet but the inside has a starlight headliner and it is wrapped in blue suede, full carbon fibre overlay kit with blue trim. I am currently rebuilding the engine with forged internals and full bolt ons before big turbo next year. I know it’s alot lol, glad to be part of the community!
  12. I have been looking to do my steering wheel like this for ages! Where did you find this beauty? Or did you do some custom work? Looks amazing!
