  1. Nice cars! I have a 2017 Reserve 3.0t AWD for my daily, and 700 hp 2000 Camaro SS for my weekend/summer toy. I had a 400 hp 2004 Mustang gt before my SS as well. Love the new edge style. My buddy just sold his 04 Mach 1 for a C5 Vette. His Mach 1 was pretty sweet. Dark Shadow Grey with bronze painted Mach style wheels
  2. Welcome! I just bought a 2017 3.0t AWD myself. This car is an insane value on the used market. Would have never known how much so unless it was brought to my attention
  3. Thanks for the reply. I am measuring from the ground (a flat level concrete surface) to the the center most point of the wheel well. Both sides on the front were 27.5" and both sides on the rear were 27" even. So a solid 1/2" difference. I do have a extended ESP as well. I did some more research, and it appears this is somewhat common on these cars, so I'm not so sure there is anything wrong, but rather just how the car is. I was just curious how easy it is to pop the rear springs out, so I could add a thicker isolator or something Yes I am not a fan of a nice looking car that sits higher in the front like this. Just a personal preference I guess. I've seen a few others mention the same thing about thir MKZ, so this is not totally uncommon apparently

  5. Has anyone else noticed the rear sitting about a half inch lower than the front? I actually measured to confirm and there is a solid 1/2" difference. I'm wondering how hard it is to pop the rear springs out, and add a thicker isolator or something. Anyone know, or done anything like this? I have a 17 3.0t AWD if that makes a difference Thanks
  6. Last black car I owned was 2004 Accord. Since then I've had 2 Mustangs and 2 Camaro. Dark blue, and dark red were the colors. To be honest my dark red 2018 Camaro was almost as difficult to maintain as my my girlfriends black Impala Premier. Never would have guessed that, but besides scratches it showed dirt and dust just as bad pretty much. This grey hides stuff much better from what I'm seeing.
  7. Nice. I do like the grey a lot, but black looks awesome on these cars when clean and well taken care of. Combined with all the chrome it's sweet. The pearl white, black, and grey are my top picks for this car
  8. Thanks you for the responses. I've done a lot of research, and no way am I messing up the turbos or whatever for maybe 2 hp if I'm lucky. Filter that was in the car was some weird paper one with a foam pad attached to it. I just bought the original OEM Motorcraft one instead
  9. Thank you for the response. The more I search the more I see that you're probably right. Not worth the risk then.
  10. I just bought a 2017 MKZ AWD with the 3.0t. The air filter that's in there is your basic paper one, but has a foam pad attached to the bottom. It looks very restrictive, and I am wanting to change it. I have read that anything other than a good OE paper type filter could cause possible damage to the turbos. Is there any truth to that, or is nothing to show any proof that this has been an issue? Thanks
  11. Thanks guys. Just realized my username was my first name. Didn't want that lol. This forum setup is way different than the Camaro and Mustang ones. Need to get used to it. BTW, do any of you know about performance air filters, and how they relate to this vehicle in particular? Reason I ask is because I was told filters like K&N and whatnot are not a wise idea because very fine particals and such can mess up the turbos. Any truth to that, or is it like any other vehicle in that regard?
  12. Hello everyone. Just picked up a 2017 MKZ with the 3.0t. Got a great deal on it, and a great offer on my 2018 Camaro, so I pulled the trigger. Loving it so far. Quite the change from my Camaro lol. Looking forward to learning about this great car
