I agree, the mileager does not live up to its hype! I live in a rural area with flat roads and a lot of 45 - 55 mph driving. My previous car was a 2007 BMW 328 rated at 29 mpg highway. I averaged 29 mpg for all of my driving when I drove the BMW around my area. So, I assumed that I would get the 34 mpg that Lincoln advertized for highway driving. However, I only get 29 mpg for thes same type of driving that I did with the BMW. I have over 10,000 miles on the car, so it is" broken in".
