  1. I have a similar problem and I think I have pinpointed the problem to the low rocker beneath the door. The long plastic body panel that runs from front wheel well to rear wheel well. I am currently trying to devise a way to hold it in place, the plastic pins that are supposed to do so are so cheap and weak they don’t do anything. Let me know if this helps!
  2. Hey easy rider. I was wondering if you figured out your problem. I know it’s been a few years since you posted this but I recently got a used 2016 MKZ, and I like everything about it except for a rattle I have noticed and I was wondering if you were able to solve your problem. I believe I have tracked the problem to the rocker below the driver side door. I believe the pins holding that panel to the frame are too weak to sufficiently hold it in place but I’m not sure yet. I am considering gluing it in place. let me know what you think. thanks!
