  1. I totally forgot to put my car into maintenance mode and changed my front pads.....now after the pad change I have a sporadic grind. There is no rhyme or reason to it either....driving straight, turning, slow or highway. Did I just fudge it all up? I just found my bluetooth code reader so I will post any trouble codes I get for it !
  2. Nvm.....what I ended up doing was breaking the welded nut loose and it was simply turning in place. Well I couldn't tell from under the car lmfao....so with my trusty 13/16 wrench I was able to get it removed & replaced. They do not give you much clearance to do jack shit under there, thanks ford! ?
  3. So i got a 2016 base mkz with 2.0 engine.....and the sway bar was clanking away on the frame. So I ordered 2 new bushings as one was just sliding around on the bar but the drivers side was still intact and functioning (for the most part). So I was able to get the drivers side sub frame bolts out and that one changed no problem. But when I went to passenger side to get those sub frame bolts out....the rear bolt came out but the front bolt just spins all day long leading me to believe its now stripped out? What are some options to get that bushing bracket off and the bolt removed? Any suggestions would be appreciated !
  4. I know this is resurrecting an old post but im having this issue on a 2016 base.....judging by replies I am skeptical on this getting resolved?
  5. I have no idea what these mini links are on my front suspension but they are both cracked (pass and driver side) Issue at hand is a hard right turn or hard left turn is making a knocking noise. + Control arms are good + Stabilizer links are good + Tie rods are good Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the suggestions / replies !

  7. I have a similar problem but it's somewhere on the passenger side.
  8. Thanks for the suggestions.... I'm hesitant about the recommended adapter that they are suggesting for my new 6 1/2 alpines though..... Is this the correct bracket adapter? https://www.crutchfield.com/p_142SASC656/Scosche-SASCN656-Speaker-Mounting-Brackets.html?tp=2824 The front lower speaker is the dead culprit.....like so:
  9. I got a 2016 base mkz recently and the stock system is lackluster.....to say the least. Not a Thx system either.... What does everyone run these days? With so many speaker companies these days, I haven't had enough time to research them all. Back in my day it was either kenwood, kicker, alpine, jl's etc... Looking at DS18's, Alpine's currently but open to recommendations. Im just doing the 6.5" fronts right now and then will replace the rest one by one. Suggestions?
