The service center at my deal ran a test and said my reception was "perfect." Hardly. I alerted Lincoln to my issues (800-521-4140 or 800-232-5952) and they said they would log it. If anyone else has this issue, I suggest doing the same. Maybe if enough of us do, they'll upgrade to "Honda level" antennas.

Even in tree-lined neighborhoods, Rusty Boltz? My CR-V even gets reception in parking garages (unless we go underground), but in the Lincoln, the slightest overhead obstruction causes a problem. I appreciate the responses, guys! This helps a ton when I talk to the service dept.

I've had our new 2014 MKZ hybrid for a few weeks now and am frustrated with some design flaws that I wouldn't have been able to find in a test drive. Firstly, Is anyone else's satellite radio reception as spotty with the slightest tree branch interference? I also have a new 2014 Honda CR-V and that car's satellite reception is great in my tree-line neighborhood and even garage. When I drive the Lincoln though, it cuts in an out constantly. The test drives were in a wide open area and it was passable. Is anyone else having this issue? Also I can't seem to use the LATCH child safety seat system for the middle rear seat like I can with the CR-V. It's the safest spot in the car, why wouldn't they allow for installation there. I paid twice as much for the Lincoln than the CR-V and it's just not making the comparative grade.

Guys, I am ordering a new MKZ Hybrid and can't choose between the 18" and 19" wheels. After testing both, I could swear the bigger 19"s actually provided the softer ride. How is that possible? I thought the smaller tire would provide the softer, more luxury feel. Could the dealer just be underinflating the 19s? I did switch the 18s to "comfort mode" and it got a little softer but not as soft as the 19s. I feel like I am taking crazy pills.please help.
