  1. Thanks drolds1, so based on that I don't have to disco the battery? I do not have cooled seats, no.
  2. I bought some expensive seat covers I can't now return, and because of how the seat is built with that weird flap under the seat that I can't just unhook because of the plugs I might as well take them out to install the covers.
  3. Right, the dealers and a lot of mechanics have a device that provides power to the accessories via a power port inside the car after discoing the battery completely. I thought that if I disconnect the negative only and leave the positive connected it'll disable the airbags but the accessories will still retain their settings. I better look this up first to make sure.
  4. Thanks, this is about what I figured. Just so I can keep all of my Sync/XM channel settings, can I just remove the positive cable from the battery? Or is it the negative cable?
  5. Anyone know of a write up for front seat removal for a 2020? I saw one here for a 2016, would be the same?
  6. Hi all, 2020 MKZ, I am trying to install a set of PrecisionFit seat covers but am unable to get the straps between the bottom seat and the backrest because there is a flap that is tethered to the underside of the seat. I can feel that the straps are hooked over a plastic hook but there are wiring harnesses preventing me from unhooking these flaps. I really don't want to start unhooking stuff to get theses covers on - any way to unhook these straps with unplugging stuff? To top it off there is so little room under the seat to maneuver my hand it almost seems like you'd have to remove the seat to get the covers strapped in correctly. Any help is appreciated.
