  1. Here ya go Check out my mod thread. I did a couple of other things as well. http://lincolnmkzforum.com/topic/349-mod-thread/
  2. Thanks! Thanks :) For the future, I'm thinking a mild drop and a front lip will do it. I don't want to spend money on performance mods because there's adequate power as it drives now and I'm going to sell it in 2-3 years anyways. Plus, the cost doesn't justify the performance gains lol.
  3. Hey guys. Did some minor modifications to the linc. 20% tint all around, did the custom grille a while back and blacked out the mirror caps recently. Let me know what you think :)
  4. I want to do my grille like that, plastidip black the whole grille including the chrome border and throw a coat or two of glossifier. Almost the same look for about $40 cost ;) Life of a college student.

You could just order generic mesh grille and cut it to fit behind the chrome. I have the non sport package grille, so what I'm going to do is remove the grille, remove the back silver part and plastidip it black, maybe add glossifier.
  6. Ofcourse you can. I'm running 20's with no issue. Well, except that I'm practically riding on rubber bands to maintain the OD LOL.
  7. I'm running 20 x 8.5 +35 wheels with 255/30/20 rubber on a 2010 MKZ. No rubbing at all. Ride quality has suffered somewhat, but in all honestly it's not as bad as it's made out to be. Keep in mind performance will also suffer a little if each rim+tire is heavier than stock setup. Not enough to bother me however. Handling is awesome now. Rims are more prone to potholes, but now I can avoid them more ;)
  8. Yeah, at first when I got the car I was having mixed feelings about it. But now that I have my 20's on I cant wait to mod it further and make my MKZ into a head turner haha, only helps that there's barely any other MKZs on the road. Make sure you update the forums when you mod yours, let others know there's MKZ enthusiasts out here! Check out my mod thread http://lincolnmkzforum.com/topic/349-mod-thread/
  9. Hello guys. 2010 MKZ AWD red candy. Stuff done so far: - White fog light bulbs - Lip spoiler - 20 x 8.5 AR wheels - Emblem removal - LED swap (incl. reverse lights) - Custom grille - Blacked out mirror caps - 20% tint all around Lots of things coming up! 12/5/14: Tint, custom grille and blacked out mirror caps older picture:
  10. Yeah I already saw all that, just wanted to get some mkz owner input and put some life in this forum
  11. Does anyone have a steeda CAI or tune in their MKZ (2010-2012)? Are there noticeable gains in power?
  12. Thanks guys. Smoked head/tail lights and spoiler lip next!
  13. Removed emblems from the back... liking the clean look. In progress (dont mind the dirty trunk) After a wash
  14. Does anyone know if the dimensions of the 2006-2009 fusion trunklid is the same as the 2010 fusion? Which would in turn be the same as the 2010 MKZ, right? The reason I am asking is because painted spoilers on ebay are relatively cheap for the 06-09 fusion, compared to the 2010 fusion or MKZ. Thanks in advance.
  15. Thanks, I thought so too. I want to order a spoiler asap, so im still gonna wait till I get the car and check the color code just to be sure lol
  16. Hello all from Canada. I've been eyeing several cars and just bought a red 2010 MKZ. However, I dont know what specific color it is (sangria or red candy). Can't wait to get it on Thursday!
  17. I am pretty sure the MKZ doesn't have studs in the badges in the back. I have done badge removal on my current car and the best way to do it is to use a heat gun (or blow dryer) to heat up the underlying glue and dental floss to get in between the badge and the trunk lid. After you have removed the badges, you should use an adhesive remover to remove the glue residue from the trunk lid. "Goo-gone" is your best bet.
