From the owners manual "In cold weather, the system is set to 72°F (22°C). The heated seats and heated steering wheel are set to high (if available, and selected to AUTO in the information display). The rear defroster and heated mirrors automatically turn on." So, I guess I answered my own question. Thanks again.

I have a 2014 and just wondering if I could ask you this question. When using remote start, do your outside rear view heated mirrors heat up? Mine only work after the car is started. Is this a defect or just a characteristic. Could someone please confirm their experience. Thanks.
