  1. Thanks Izzy3906, I figured it out before I saw your post but your description is accurate. With the panel pulled down, as shown by Chris109, I placed a small flashlight on the folded down panel pointing at the fuse block. The number is very difficult to read at the angle of the block and you are correct, the only way to see if a fuse is blown is to pull it out. Using a pair of needle-nose pliers, mine are thin nosed, I can reach under the dash and pull whichever fuse I want while looking through the hole. I sure wouldn't want to have to replace a fuse at night on the side of the road or in any extreme weather, especially without knowing what I know now! Funny how the Owner's Manual doesn't tell you anything but the interior fuse panel's general location and the fuse assignments.
  2. It is not behind the fuse panel. The only place I've seen it is in the Owner's Manual.
  3. Thanks R2D2 but that part was easy. That provides limited physical and visual access just slightly better than laying on the floorboard looking up at it. If you look at the picture in his post you can just make out some of the fuses and that the block itself is angled away from that opening. This isn't the first time I wanted to meet the design engineer responsible for something that makes what should be relatively simple a real pain! The most notable being the replacement of the transverse motor mount on a PT Cruiser. You have to fully pull the engine and transmission to do so because it is bolted to the right front wheel well from the inside!! Absolutely no reason, excuse me, good reason that it couldn't have been bolted from the outside.
  4. I feel kind of stupid like I'm missing something obvious, and I hope I am, but does anyone have any advice for actually getting to the fuses? I can't figure a way to get my hand to the fuses and still be able to see them. In fact, I'm trying to figure out how you can view the fuses well enough to see the visual indication of being blown. Granted, fuses don't typically blow very often but I can't imagine why Ford made this block so darn inaccessible!
  5. The Power Points (cigarette lighter- 12 VDC and USB- 5V) are powered only when the vehicle is ON or ACC ON. Now, I have a 2019 MKZ-H, and there is a 110 VAC plug at the back of the center console that is powered at all times.
