Thanks Izzy3906, I figured it out before I saw your post but your description is accurate. With the panel pulled down, as shown by Chris109, I placed a small flashlight on the folded down panel pointing at the fuse block. The number is very difficult to read at the angle of the block and you are correct, the only way to see if a fuse is blown is to pull it out. Using a pair of needle-nose pliers, mine are thin nosed, I can reach under the dash and pull whichever fuse I want while looking through the hole. I sure wouldn't want to have to replace a fuse at night on the side of the road or in any extreme weather, especially without knowing what I know now! Funny how the Owner's Manual doesn't tell you anything but the interior fuse panel's general location and the fuse assignments.
