  1. I have 25,000 miles on my 13 MKZh that was a job 1 build. The haven't been any issues. The car runs great and gets great gas mileage.
  2. I haven't received a notice from Lincoln, but it does appear when I look up recall notices on the internet along with two others.
  3. I choose to have the oil changed every 5,000 miles and Lincoln will not pay for that, so I pay for every other change.
  4. Took the Z in this AM for an oil change and had the coupon for $39.95. They only charged me $29.00 + tax for it. The coupon does say 39.95 or less. This is the first time they charged me less.
  5. Your dealer is wrong. I put the doughnut spare and tool kit in mine right after I got it.
  6. I have a job 1 MKZh and there have been very few issues. The power train is the same as the job 1 '13 FFH that I just sold, that did have some issues.
  7. In 2013 fleet cars already came with DRL activated. My wife had the DRLs activated on her '13 MKZh. The dealer had no issues activating and did it for free.
  8. Ford has admitted that a bad batch of batteries were installed in the early 2013 model cars. If I remember it was a Sept '13 build Motorcraft battery. My FFH went through two 12v batteries real fast. They replaced the original and the battery they replaced it with. There is also a TSB that is supposed to fix this issue. Check the Fusion Hybrid forms for it. There is a thread with all the TSBs.
  9. The Zypher was the twin to the Fairmont. There was a slight upgrade to the interior.
  10. An then there's the Mercury Zephyr....I used to own one.
  11. The window sticker will actually say Dark Side. It came out in 2013.
  12. We had a new 2013 FFH when we decided to order 2013 MKZ. The FFH replaced my wife's car and she was perfectly happy with it. A few weeks later we ordered a 2013 MKZh and when it came she jumped behind the wheel and proclaimed, "this one is mine" and she promptly drove off the lot. That was that.....
  13. While in for some service (window replacement) I took the time for the Free Training Class and learned so many new features of the car. If current owners haven't taken the class...it's worth the time...and free coffee. My dealer also had OJ and donuts.
  14. Both of my cars do the same and I live in SE PA. Colder weather does affect the mileage on these cars.
  15. The hybrids are all FWD. They have no rear-wheel drive. Sounds like some more of that dealer mojomagic that tends to go around.
  16. I'm lucky, my wife has had quite a number of classic muscle cars - It's a perfect marriage. When I met her she was drag racing her Mach 1 on the interstate.
  17. Come back and let us know how much you lost on the deal in trade in value.
  18. I was in Michigan over the Thanksgiving holiday and spent quite a bit of time looking at the 2015 Mustang. Really giving it some serious thought.
  19. Have you tried rebooting it? If that does not fix it - the dealer will need to re-flash it.
  20. I have gone through a Ford repurchase. I ended up with a completely different model. The process went very smooth. They couldn't refund the state sales tax, but they made it up with incentives. The car I turned in was supposed to have been crushed (according to Calif. law) but a year later popped up in another state. I was contacted by an attorney who represented a client who was suing Ford. He had many of the same issues I had with the car.
