That is very strange. But sure enough that worked. Thank you for the advice! problem solved

2013 MKZ used the 2 key in cup holder method to get the dash to display the factory code. Entered the factory code into the center display to set a personal code and the computer says "factory code incorrect". Even though the dash clearly displays the same numbers as the factory code. Door number pad does not respond to the factory code either. Anyone experienced this before or know how to go about getting it fixed?
