2017 Hybrid Reserve 79k
Just noticed 2 small paint separations on either sail panels close to where the back glass joins the body. It's hard to capture, but does have a touch of red (oxidation).
Purchased about a month ago used with 2k less than it has now and a past untold by carfax. The paint reads stored inside at night, but with about 40k stacked by the second owner in the last year, it's recently spent quality time outside and now has no reliable covered park.
The size, shape, and location of the cracks - to me - seems formed from torsional stress. I am biased as I'm focused on profiling the previous owner using the minimal wear I can spot as clues. Few signs of minor collisions, uncleared trip computer and sport drive mode selected at purchase makes me think they liked how well it corners as much as I do. This spot is normally subject to torsional stress as outlined in this daunting research paper but it is not model specific:

I spent maybe 10 minutes skimming just to confirm I'm not far from the pulse, but other possible causes aren't less probable. Still would like to know if anyone else notices this on their Z.
