Remote start climate control grayed out

Hi I’ve had my 2013 Lincoln MKZ for 2 years now and the remote start has always worked I’ve always been able to adjust it but recently the past couple of times I’ve went to start it will come on with lights but my heating will not come on at all. I went to click on climate control under remote start setting and everything is completely grayed out where I can’t click on anything
