  1. Got a call from the SA that the roof part was back ordered and wouldn't be in until the 19th. I reminded him that I already had an appointment on the 19th to bring the car in to have the rust at bottom and sides of doors repaired and that I expected they would have the car for awhile so the b/o shouldn't be an issue. Also, they will pick car up and leave a Lincoln loaner. Once they do that, they can take their time with roof and doors. Now figuring out how I can get them to repair/replace misaligned ashtray door.
  2. It's a 2017. I'm a little disappointed/concerned that technician initially threw hands in air and said he/she couldn't fix it.
  3. No the strip is misaligned. Why I don't know. Repair originally done by dealer I bought the car from. After poor repair job, I brought the car to another dealer 10 minutes from home vs the dealer that's an hour away. First they said they didn't want to touch it because they thought they might only make it worse! Plus, because work was first attempted by another dealer they were also reluctant to take it on. I got the Concierge involved and they told dealer yes it would be covered and I told them not being able to repair it was an unacceptable answer. It's going back in next week. We'll see what happens.
  4. Need some input here. First, the piece between the windshield and pano roof is not fitting correctly. Dealer I purchased the car from replaced the piece but it is still not lining up correctly. On close inspection you can see gasket is not lined up correctly. Took it to new dealer who says, essentially, there's nothing we can do. I asked them to take a second look. Has anyone else had this issue? How was it resolved?
  5. I bought mine used and honestly, HD radio wasn't on my must have list. What would it take to upgrade to a unit that supports HD?
  6. Yes, I agree. That's why I was surprised to find out my car didn't have it.
  7. I'll trade the HD radio for 400hp anytime.
  8. Not trying to turn it on or off. Trying to adjust the travel when it goes up.
  9. Is there a way to adjust the movement of the tilt wheel for entry/access? I would like the wheel to go higher when it automatically adjusts. I can manually adjust the wheel up another couple of inches.
  10. I upgraded to 20282 about a week ago. Have not noticed any significant changes. Some icons are different. Nav seems to have some new features but have not explored them yet. Might be a coincidence but My Lincoln apps appear to be working. Take awhile to load so maybe they worked before but I was just too impatient to wait. Will play with them later.
  11. Does anybody have experience with aftermarket wood trim kits for a 2017? I'm looking at B&I, which is the only brand I could find. They offer OEM matching trim kits and I've requested a sample to compare, but so far no response.
  12. Thank you for the reply. As you suggested I RTFM. Adaptive works above 3 mph. And I think you're pointing out that the effect is not dramatic kind of answers my original question. I was expecting more of an effect based on the adaptive lighting I had on a previous Car (an Audi IIRC) where the side markers would very visibly light up in the direction of the turn.
  13. I had the dealer check my headlights because I couldn't see any effect when I was turning. They ran a diagnostic that came back negative. But, I'm still not convinced they are working. Perhaps I don't understand what they're supposed to do. If I am parked with headlights on and turn the wheel, should I see some motion from the lights?
  14. Kinda the same line of thought, is there a way to make the steering wheel move to it’s highest position when doing the comfort exit and access thing?
  15. Fusionff is correct. I looked at the 2018 brochure and the wheels show up there. Can’t understand how they could market a high end car to supposedly discerning customers without telling them what wheels the car comes with. very different in Audi and BMW world.
  16. I have the base audio which explains, I guess, why I don’t have HD. It does seem like Lincoln was behind the curve. Three audio options really doesn’t make sense. Too bad, because I’m in Boston which has a variety of good HD stations.
  17. It's a reserve with the technology package. I bought it used but still under warranty. Brochure doesn't differentiate trim levels. Probably brochure error, but I will contact concierge before I go to dealer.
  18. I was looking at the 2017 brochure and it clearly states that HD radio should come with my car, but it doesn't. Anybody know the history of why it wasn't included?
  19. I looked in the 2017 Brochure and order guide and could not find a reference to these wheels. They're the same color as the car, magnetic grey. Also no mention of wheels on the window sticker. How were they even ordered?
  20. Heard back from dealer. Checklist is ?in the mail! Also queried the Concierge about the open recall on my car that pops up on the Lincoln app. I understand that it doesn't apply to my car so no real urgency, but I would like for them to turn alert off. Must be done by dealer, so my question is, why didn't they turn it off during CPO inspection? Lazy, poor quality control or maybe they never did the CPO check? Minor issue, yes, but I'm starting to really resent poor service. Must be getting crankier as I get older.
  21. Dealer had my car for a week to replace a piece of trim between the windshield and pano roof. I asked 3 times about a copy of the CPO checklist and, of course, when I got the car back this morning, no checklist. Just hung up with Concierge. They contacted dealer and I am awaiting a call back.
  22. What's the follow up on this? I have some pitting on my hood. My car is magnetic grey metallic..
  23. They picked up my 2017 and left me a 2020 as a loaner. A couple of observations: The 2.0 runs really well. Very peppy. My 2017 has the 3.0, but I could live with a 2.0 if I had to. Loaner has base Revel system, my 2017 has base Lincoln system. I could hear the difference immediately on startup. Wish there was some feasible way to upgrade my system. Steering on the 2020 seems much tighter than on my 2017. Do the 2020's come standard with what used to be the Driver's Package? Why else would the steering be different? Other than the logo'ed speakers, interiors are essentially identical. Oh, and the 2020 has pull handles above the doors where the 2017 doesn't, but that could be because of the pano roof in the 2017. I am very much reminded of the various Volvo's and Saabs I have owned over the years where changes were incremental, starting with a good platform and continually improving on it. Unfortunately, the MKZ has also suffered a similar fate as Saab, fading into automotive history.
  24. So you say yes, I should have received one?
