    Hi, I have a 2017 MKZ Hybrid. Fully loaded. I have been interested in upgrading the sync 3.0 to 3.4. (Yes, I know it will have to be "unofficial") I've heard a lot of people saying it "couldn't be done" but I ran across this guy who did exactly that with his 2017 MKC. [ https://www.mkcforum.com/threads/unofficial-update-to-sync3-v3-4-for-those-interested.30334/ ] Do you think this would work with the MKZ? I'd really like to make this happen for the esthetic differences and the couple extra features. Thanks in advance for your insight.

    Ok, thanks for the info bbf. Out of curiosity, which version of SYNC 3 is the 2020 MKZ running? It looks a wee bit upgraded visually.

    Hi guys. I have a 2017 MKZ H. With sync3.0. Is there a way to get the dealership to upgrade me to 3.3/3.4 or do I have to sideload it?
