  1. Finally did the oil change. I was warned about the drain shooting out in a 45 degree angle but it was more. Made a mess. The drain plug seem to just click in by hand when you tighten it. No need to torque? Just making sure when I'm closing it.
  2. Zalvern, As always, you are a wealth of knowledge. Wow you can rent a service manual??.. I didnt know that. I wonder if someone copied it and have a free one floating around. I might not even have the tools to do the fuel filter service so after all that for something you will do every 3 years is a bit much.
  3. My 2017 MKZ 3.0t awd is just about ready for that fuel filter replacement. Is this a DIY or a dealer job? Dealer labour and parts are always more in canada .
  4. No. The car was started and the app still says unavailable
  5. Does this exist? It's getting scratched up. I need the key to lock the glove box but cant find a fob cover that has this option. Carbon fiber one to match my drivers package.
  6. Same here. Lately, the app has a banner that say unavailable at the moment in red and doesnt link to the sync 3 well
  7. Kramf, I think they removed it from my app. I saw it before in feb when I got the car. It must be an update. It doesnt have service history anymore under service and support area. The app I got is version 2.26.2 can. I'm in canada. The full lincoln owner webpage also seem to have removed it too from service history. Am I correct?
  8. I can find any spot to log the oil change on the lincoln site or app. Did they remove this feature?
  9. Thanks guys. I will try to give it a go as I've also never changed a cartridge filter but it sounds easy. The oem filters are like $40 or 50 in canada. Though it's like $5 to $11 in usa, Shipping is like $30plus to Canada. Cant drive across the boarder for a while it seems. Anyone use a ez oil drain plug or futmoto? I used one for a decade on my s2000 and its awesome. I dont even need to jack up the car. This car might be different though since I probably cant reach though the engine bay to slide the lever to release the oil.
  10. I got my synthetic 5w30 ready but I assume most people are using the motorcraft oem cartridge? I got a super deal on a 3.0t awd last month and purchased a 5yr extended warranty. Will changing your own oil void it?
