So i just updated to this version. What happened before is everything was working, but I was not aware that it affected the XM/SIRIUS stuff It seems that this is why SYNC3 v3.4.21098 came out so soon... to fix that. For ME, it seems to have also fixed the sound from my iPod Touch (7th gen). It was playing the tunes, just no sound... NOW there is sound again. ?

and here I thought we were talking about he maps update.... It is at SYNC3 v3.4.21098 for the OS update, not the maps

Also, I'm under the impression that the transmission is a sealed unit, and the fluid cannot and should not be replaced? I only use L when I'm in rush hour traffic, slower than 30. ?

Yea, I'd be interested what your car is at too... 19 or 18, latest is 20 it is a huge file(s). so maybe it's just takeing longer than you want it to?

My 2020 MKZ-H used to get about 42 for an average, but now that I have new tires (don't like them) I went from the Michelins it came from to the Goodyear Eagles and I've lost about 2 miles mpg. and they seem to be more noisy... so when I got for another oil change, I will ask them about that. See what they are willing to do. and no , the Hybrid does not have S, it does have a 'L' for low but you can't call it a gear per see Even @ 40, I'm glad I get that... getting 25-30 seems a waste. ? for the ICE vehicles

I saw on another page, so I looked. there is a new update to get SYNC3 v3.4.21098 as usual, this is for those units that have 3.4, if you have 3.3 you have to update to 3.4, 3.0 will not go to this.

when it asks for the VIN make sure you are using the Vin for the unit (if it is different and has been replaced) and the other code is the one you have to scroll down the screen to see, ESN. when you are at that page, I will assume you get the active button to download the file(s) , if it is not active, double check your entries... OR, try another browser (Chrome, 2nd gen EDGE (that one is using the Chromium engine). although as was said, Firefox should work... as far as the concierge # that is listed on the Lincoln app, and on the lincoln page when you have logged in.

You are better off trading in for a newer one... they are about 5 grand and even thoen I'm not sure if anyone makes for for a 2012

I did the 3.4 update via USB, and the Maps to 2.20 via my phones hotspot.... unlimited data , so that part was not a big deal... took a few days to complete it

The point of the 'you can not do it' is that by taking a unit that has 3.0.xxxxx Ford/Lincoln does not offer a solution for this. What can happen, is that you can purchase a unit (and a few other bits) to 'make' it 3.4. But coming here would be like going to a mazda site asking for help with your toyota... someone might help, but it is doubful If you did not get your update from Ford or Lincoln, but through a 3rd party, or an ebay/what ever site... then you will be on your own.... (in so many words). ?

I take it that you pulled them, cleaned them and put them back? are they the OEM's ? At your mileage, might have been a good time to change them out. one of them looks a little burnt at the socket... not a mechanic, so I'm not sure if that is good or bad... I'm just pointing out that it's only 1 of them

I purchased something from him, ended up sending it back , because it would not work in my 2018 FFH at the time (it came out of a Ford Van with multiple cameras, and my car did not like it) Nice guy good to work with So he wasn't sure what it really came out of ... Escape or Fusion.... I would say that you might never get it to 3.4.xxxxx from 3.0.xxxx. It has been mentioned here and other places that Ford/Lincoln may make the software for these units, but there is no 'official' upgrade. It's a hack... hacks can and do go bad I would say if you want to proceed it is at your risk

I will guess that the Sync you have might not even be compatible with 3.4. a 2018 model was 'just' able to do 3.0 at the time. I agree if it's a Cyanlabs file, you would be better to ask them as they are the ones that are 'hacking' it.

I've been buying from a place that I don't know where they get there gas from, but it's the least expensive around here (will under 4) sometimes I put in the middle grade... ONe thing I noticed on my journeys, was some places had 88 as the lower one... and some had 'pure' gas... I'm assuming no ethanol at all I do concur it might not make much difference... I was talking more about the non-brand... maybe having more water in them... ? I do know that tires make a difference too... while I don't like the ones I got , they are slowly getting better for mileage...

quality of gas will do it.... could be time to get the injectors cleaned...
