  1. I suspect that after you inspected the 14 speaker amp you didn't notice anything that could be adjusted? I personally find the 14 speaker Revel system in my MKZ to be lacking in the "clean treble" category. I think it has a little to much bass as well. I wish I could tune it bit. The Mrs isn't find of bass so I turn it all the way down during our road trips, but there is still quite a bit there. I've considered disconnecting the factory woofers, turning the bass all the way down and installing an aftermarket sub with a hidden bass knob. Should provide less bass for her and more for me when I want it, hopefully without sacrificing sound quality by disconnecting the sub and turning the bass all the way down though.
  2. A few months ago I test drove a 2019 Lincoln MKZ with the turbo 4cyl. The ride quality was very nice, and then I heated about the optional 400hp AWD option and I was sold. I picked up a 2018 model (CPO) but it came with 19" wheels (satin finish painted etc) and it's second set of tires which are Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 245/40ZR/19 (would you consider these "low profile"?). The ride quality is still really nice, but I think if I swap wheels and tires it could be better. I'm thinking about trying to trade the "upgraded" wheels and tires for some smaller factory ones. 18" Wheels and Michelin tires. My questions are.. - What are the exact tires that come from the factory? - Do you think there will be ride issues when going from the current 19" setup to the proposed 18" setup? Will it change the camber, caster, angle etc enough for premature wear, would it need to be realigned afterwards? - What are your opinions on the suggested trade, am I shooting myself in the foot? - What tired would you recommend for a smooth comfy ride?
  3. I unbolted my front license plate bracket only to reveal 2 nasty holes where they drilled holes right into the bumper. I put the license plate holder right back on. I would like to take it off but those holes look terrible! If anyone has suggestions for them, I'm all ears!
