  1. I changed my "drive control" setting to "normal". It had been on "comfort". Made a lot of difference to me. Comfort was too bouncy and felt like you feel the road too much. Felt like I did not have a stable set of wheels under me at times. Also, don't seem to notice the vibration like before. On the other hand, "normal" rides like my wife's lexus does. Stable and smooth. May not be your problem, but I thought I'd pass it on. Mac
  2. I'm glad you were able to track the problem down. I bought my mkz used, 58,000 miles so no warranty for me. Noticed the vibration in the test drive but thought the problem could be corrected with a new set of tires and a balance and alignment job but was wrong. Live and learn, I guess. I've come to believe the problem originates in the drive train or rear end. Maybe in the electronics. Anyway, thanks for the helpful post.
  3. Well, thank you Joe, I love everything about this car except the vibration. Don't know what to do, hate to go down the same frustrating route you went down. Guess I'll trade her in for another Lexus!
  4. Joe, thanks for this information. Sounds like the identical issue I'm having with my 2015 mkz base, 3.7. Vibration at about 60 mph. But in checking, Websites say this part does not fit my car or, for that matter, your 2014 mkz awd. Any thoughts?
