  1. also noticed when I have the hill descent assist on, it vibrates as well. Sounds like it's coming from the dash to the left of the steering wheel. No replies?
  2. Black Beauty, I did file a claim, since it was caused by hitting the tire tread as I changed lanes... All was good until they told me I couldn't prove the tread his both lenses and I would have to a pay a deductible for each light. So, not worth $2,000 to me. Lights still work great. I did end up getting some thin headlight glue for the crack, once that dried I put 3M rubber cut adhesive headlight film on them. The cracks haven't moved since, so hopefully all good.
  3. Hey Fellas, my 17 hybrid (79k miles) at highway speeds, usually a long-banking left turn, sticks! Instead a smooth transition back to center, I can feel a 'sticky position' and have to turn it passed that 'stick' . Anyone else heard of this or have ideas other than take it to the dealership? Thanks! Kev in Dallas
  4. Hey Fellas, my 17 hybrid (79k miles) just started doing this. In the evenings when I'm leaving our parking garage, rolling downhill under 15mph, apply the brakes, only to hear a slight rumble on the front left side (only when I'm applying the brakes). The brake pedal doesn't indicate anything other than normal. It's just the noise I hear. Anyone else deal with this? Thanks! Kev in Dallas
  5. Find out you can get used one on Ebay (if you want to pay $600 for ONE)... but I'm not going for that. My Drivers side also has a crack, so hello 3M clear repair tape. You can't even tell it's on there. I'll watch the cracks going forward to see if the adhesive plays any role. If it holds, good enough ? . If not, looks like I'll replace both assemblies at once since apparently you have to take the front fascia off anyway.
  6. Hey guys, I'm looking for a replacement Passenger side headlight for my 17 Premiere. When I first bought the car, a nasty tire tread smacked the hood and I guess the light. So now it's got a nice crack almost all the way up the clear cover. I've already glued it, but I'm just not satisfied. By chance does anyone have one they would sell me ? I really only need the cover, but I'm guessing it's sealed and I need the whole assembly. Thank you Fellas! Kevin in Dallas
  7. Yep! Meaning, the airbag is active, will inflate and NOT To have your rear facing child seat in the passenger seat (who does that anyway?!?!?!)
  8. so, are you guys saying the 19 OEM rims and tires give a rough ride? I was considering buying some 19" OEM take offs, to replace my current OEM 18s. I don't want too if the ride is significantly rougher. BTW, I used 'GENERAL' tires this last time, absolutely wonderful tires so far (almost 15k miles on them).
  9. NO worries :) , I did end up going back to my original rims. Still have a dang wobble in the steering at 30mph or so. Going to get it checked this wknd. I would hate to think I have ANOTHER bent wheel. With the stupid concrete roads and potholes, it's no wonder.
  10. BBF, no worries. Although I think they look nice, they would REALLY look good if they had a single strip of silver around the edge. Thanks for your input! BTW, I kind of like the squad car look :)
  11. as compared too originals. Getting bent rim repaired. Might end up putting them back on.
  12. Not sure if I will keep these or not, but gives it a clean look.
  13. Thanks Fellas. After much thought, I ended up purchasing some nice gloss black Fusion wheels. They should be here next week. I'll put my OEMs up for sale. Looks like they're on EBAY for anywhere between $195 (used off of salvaged cars) and $300+ (new on EBAY)... so mine should get snapped up pretty quick. Oh forgot to mention, yes, the repairs facilities were anywhere from $125 to $200. So not a bad deal. I just didn't want to drive on a spare for those few days they needed the wheel.
