I have a Lincoln MKZ 2015. Bought it used but was in great condition. Never had any issues till one day I got out of car and there was a rather large tear. I looked around nothing was on me that could have caused a rip let alone that bad. The seat has continued to crack and rip has hardened and has almost a burnt look to it. My car had 39k miles on it. The warranty of course won’t cover. I’m at a loss to what could have possibly done something to cause this. Before anyone asks no nothing has spilled on it, I use leather cleaner and conditioner for proper cleaning. Never had a car I cared about so much and it seriously upsets me to this. To replace the seat it will cost over 1k right now that’s not even close in my budget.
I almost feel like something was wrong or is wrong with the heater in the seat....
Anyone know or have dealt with this??
