There are a couple guys in the facebook groups that hade custom exhausts done. Alternatively the Fusion sport kits will probably work with some modifications to the tips. Personally I like sleepers so I am, leaving mine stock plus I wouldn't want to drone my neighbors out while using remote start in the winter.

That's 100% the difference then in between your times. The car can be finicky with the launch, gotta find the sweet spot between no spin and spinning so much it wheel hops or cuts power. 2000-2300 work best for me but it depends on the surface too. The lighter wheels definitely help but I think it drops you like the equivalent of 160 pounds of weight which is like .15 in the quarter mile roughly. Your car is running really good actually especially for 93. Going to an e30 mix tune can help out big time, wouldn't be surprised if that dropped you another .3. When I was tune only with E30 I ran 12.7 but I didn't have an intercooler. Working on a couple thing but would like to try and make it back in the next few weeks. -

My best slip, car has XDI-35 upgraded fuel pump, Ultimate Performance Intercooler, and CPE rear motor mount. I think it is all the pump, it allows me to run e50 or more so the tune can be more aggressive. I was trying a different tuner last night but Unleashed has been solid for me for years now. I need to get me some lighter wheels, are you lowered as well? Your car looked great. -

I need to put my slips together but when you say you didn't "launch" in your spreadsheet do you mean you just left at idle? Because if so that is your difference. Brake boosting up to 2k does 2 things, gets you into the RPM band faster plus on turbo cars allows you to build boost before the launch so you have more power off the line. I'd lose a half second too if I didn't do that. I'd say you have at least a 12.5 in it with some playing around with launch rpm and tire pressure. My fastest was a 12.245@113.9, it was around 9:40 I think. I want to say 4 out of 7 passes were in the 12.2x area. -

There is a video of your 12.6 pass on facebook group "lincoln continental and mkz 3.0 - Got Boost" if you want to jump in the group. Car looked great. -
Just went to GLD last night, 3 MKZ there and a bunch of other Ecoboost Guys. I know there are a couple that have gone like 13.1 bone stock so with so might be able to squeeze off a 12.99 but it would take some optimal conditions for sureand maybe some weight reduction.

Nice to meet you man, funny our wisconsin/il ecoboost group went the same day. That was probably the first time 3 MKZ were ever at the track at the same time. All running 12s -
Should be a screw on the headlight to adjust level. http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/vdirsnet/OwnerManual/Home/Content?bookCode=O34133&countryCode=USA&languageCode=en&marketCode=US&viewTech=IE&chapterTitleSelected=G1546980&subTitleSelected=G1547004&topicHRef=G1557703&div=l&variantid=4019&vFilteringEnabled=False&userMarket=USA

I've only gotten mine to 12.7 with my tune from Unleashed performance so far but I haven't had much time at the track. I think the fastest is 12.06 right now. I'm going to be picking up a bigger front mount intercooler soon. Most of the mods for the Fusion Sport work, a lot of good info on https://www.fusionsportforums.com/ The car is a blast to drive, I've always loved sleepers. It surprises the heck out of people on the street and at the track.

I love my 2017 especially when it comes to power. It's great value to get 400hp/400tq for less than 30k, I'm not sure you can find that in any other car made in the last 3 years. A tune can add an easy another 75HP on top of that

There is a way to "side" load it. Many have done it on the facebook groups and other forums. I won't do it until I'm out of warranty though . https://cyanlabs.net/tutorials/update-ford-sync-3-2-2-3-0-to-version-3-4-all-years-3-4-19200/

Are there any benefits to the Steeda hood struts vs the MKZ stock one? I thought the Fusion Sport guys did them because they didn't have them at all. I'll probably pick up the brace as well.
