Got my car back, The dealer hears the noise but can not locate it, They had the car for 5 days, I was told it is most likely the electric motor turning and that is the sound it makes, Since the car is still covered by lincoln for the next 3 years if there is any change ill have to bring it back in Does anyone with the hybrid notice any whine from the electric motor at around 30mph and above, Not loud but there is a whine.

The car has been at the dealer for 2 full days, As of late this afternoon they still do not know where the humming noise is coming from, They hear it loud and clear coming from the front of the car, But just can not locate it I do have to say at least they are trying to fix it, If i hear any thing else i will post it up,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I have not had a dealer take a look at it yet, Im guessing that should be our next step,Just looking to see if anyone else has this possible issue.

We have a 2015 mkz hybrid 35000 miles, Recently when the car goes from gas to pure electric i am getting a humming sound that goes up and down with the speed of the car in electric,If i give some gas it will get slightly louder, I really can not tell if the humming is there under gas motor since the gas motor makes more noise it blocks it, Im not sure what it can be, The car runs and rides excellent,Plus i am getting 40 plus mpg, Anyone have any idea what this can be or should it be a trip to the dealer..........

Boy i feel like a jerk,I just tried the key that i have and it does lock and unlock the drives side door, The issue was the key is very hard to turn,Its like there is a very strong spring inside the lock, But the key does work, Im going to re read the owners manual and see what we can learn

We just recently got our first lincoln, 2015 mkz hybrid, When we got the car at the dealer we received only one FOB with key with the car, I have one on order at this time My question is what is the key for, The key does fit the drivers side door lock but it wont turn and i cant find anywhere else it can go,I am at a loss

I received the new spare tire today, It fits perfect on the car and in the trunk, The size of this tire is 135-70-17,All is good and we have a spare tire just in case.....

Little late to the party but i carry my colt defender in a cross draw holster and other times i use my IWB, There is so much wiggle room sitting in the front seats never an issue carrying.

I got the tire today, i mounted the tire on the car first thing and it fit just fine, The diameter fits it is the side wall height that is messing with me now, I would say it is close to an inch in width to much,Which means when i try to put down the inside trunk cover on it is not sitting flat , I could fix this by cutting out a piece of hard foam,Cut out around the tire and that will fix the issue, Right now im waiting to hear back from the people i got the tire from............

Once i get the spare tire set-up i will post how well it fit in the trunk, Should have it by thursday, Just thinking i should really try mounting the spare on the car just to make sure it fits

What year car do you have, I- just looked up my size -155-70-17, I have a 2015 mkz, There really is no difference in sizes between them 2 tires ,I hope to never use the spare but how do you go on a trip with no spare....

I spoke to the people from ebay and they told me if i have 26" in the trunk area it will fit, The trunk area is 26-1/4", The tire size is 25.64",It looks good to me so i placed the order for the set-up, Hopefully every thing will fit ok, If not he does have a return policy

I have not been able to find any info one way or the other I know the spare tire size to be •155-70-r17, That is the size tire on ebay for the whole set up,

I didnt think of that,Not saying it can not happen,But to my thinking you would need to be hit pretty hard in the rear to move that tire up and over the trunk shelf and also the tire is clamp down pretty good But i does give me something to think about.
