  1. Spanky keep in mind that the 4K price tag does include the rear 13 inch brakes with Electronic parking brake function as well as the 14 inch front 6 pistons and the braided stainless lines as well. The TCE kit is only the fronts Hence half the price. I'll eventually go Rotora on their next summer sale as soon as their catalog opens back up and I can get full specs on the calipers. I'd rather have 14 inch front 6 piston and 13 inch rear 4 piston calipers to match so that it evens the looks. Also, why it's not everything I do know the rotora's have a larger pad sweep area over the willwood. Just some food for thought.
  2. There are 2 kits that work on this car. One is made by TCE Performance and may require slight modification to the hub for larger holes. The other is a direct bolt on for these cars and is made by Rotora (but extremely expensive). Like 4000 for front and rear at 50 percent off.
  3. I haven't been around much on here. I hang out on the FUsion Sport forums more but I can definitely say I just got bit by some weird battery shit recently. Went out Saturday (car had sat for like 12-15 hours) and it was slow to turn over and the seat and steering wheel didn't automatically move. Went to eat and ran some errands and stopped by the quick lane to have them check the battery and do some service. Car was parked at 6:30PM. Went out sunday at 10AM and it was dead. Wouldn't even unlock the doors or anything. Battery was at 9.2 Volts. Took it to the quicklane first thing this morning and it was on the tester for 20 minutes and they came back and said the battery was bad. We'll see if it is okay tomorrow morning when I get up. Battery was from May 9, 2018 and I received the car on Jun 28th. So it's not that old at all. Hopefully I don't have some weird electrical shit creeping into the mix now that the car has 21K miles on it. We'll see. Now I gotta fight with the quick lane manager since they dicked up the clip and fuse box with a screw driver or something. Gonna be a fun one on that.
  4. Or after putting together your computer water cooling loop. My fingers were so sore for several days. Then I had to pull it all apart because the water block I received was defective and by the time I got it back I had also received my gpu block. So it all got redone.
  5. Yeah. It's not easy at all. I finally pinched a small area down in there to just hold it in place. The rest is gonna have to stay.
  6. Does that get in the way of the rear sunshade? That's the only reason I haven't purchase a rear one yet.
  7. Im pretty sure they will bolt on no problem but the oil and coolant lines are gonna have to be redone. As for his results. I suppose it depends on if he keeps them stock and slaps them on or has them modified. Personally, I'd have them modified if I was going through all these trouble to bolt them on and rerun everything. But I'm gonna guess 50-70hp
  8. The gfb diverter is beneficial when shifting gears or when you get off and back on the throttle. It is made to bleed off just enough of the excess pressure instead of dumping all the pressure and having to repressurize. Off the line won't change with a gfb valve because you would still have spool up the turbo. The throttle enhancer from what I understand just multiplies your inputs. It will feel more responsive but won't do anything after you've left the line.
  9. They have a CD6 vehicle. It's the aviator. The CD6 is an explorer chassis. Doubt they will build a car on it. I don't need something that big though. And screw BMW. Most expensive car to own. Like I said audi is pretty expensive but they take care of their customers. I'll see what lincoln has in 4 or 5 years and go from there. I'm not into loud rough rides anymore so it's gonna be hard to find a vehicle that's quick but comfortable.
  10. I just don't see it surviving ford's car cut and if it does they will be made in China. That's gonna be a no from me dawg. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do after the Z. I suppose I'll move on to audi honestly. Jags are pretty but their maintenance has been horrendous and Mercedes is just so God damn expensive.
  11. That's just cruise control set to 70-75. I'm not sure why it gets such amazing gas mileage. Don't get me wrong though. It's gotten its share of shit mileage as well. Driving through the Mt of NC destroyed it's mileage.
  12. I get 30+ most of the time going to and from omaha to Tulsa. I have even gotten 35MPG a few times. This car gets amazing mileage as long as you don't have to accelerate hahaha. The turbos are too small and produce boost way too easy. City driving just fizzles gas.
  13. I might actually drive up to them and get my mkz dyno tuned for an even 400AWHP.
  14. I feel you on that. I heard that the new livernois tuners do data logging now so I might take a look. Still not hyped about the price though. I have read 3 different experiences now that had them leave unleashed for livernois so I might just skip unleashed and go livernois. I'm sure I'll leave power on the table but it will be way better than stock I'm sure.
  15. Yeah. I thinking of doing hp tuners as SCT has finally pissed me off. I got an email a couple months ago that said they are restricting my pro racer package access so I wont have access to all my parameters. After spending 600 dollars they can go F themselves now. Let me know if Torrie can get the tune locked in better. Out of the livernois tunes which do you prefer? The firmer shift one or the normal one?
  16. The lack of data logging is my issue and the expense for livernois. I think you're the only person I have actually heard say there were issues with Torrie. Would you mind expanding on the issues you had a little bit? I'll be pulling the trigger on a tune next spring after I get the Tracy Lewis oil can installed.
  17. I have no idea. I bought mine brand new and I just set the cruise control and go. But yeah in the summer time driving to and from Oklahoma to Omaha I get 30+ always. Leaving Asheville, NC and driving to OK my first fill up was 37 lol. But that was a lot of down the mountain. I did take her for a pretty decent break in drive after I took delivery. Drove 400 miles to my mom's and then 400 back within the first 3 days of owning it. And I didn't beat on her for the first 3500 or so.
  18. If you have the money and can swing it, I highly recommend you find a local detailer and have paint correction and a ceramic coating installed. It will make things so much easier in the long run to keep things clean and it will always looked waxed for you. I went on the more expensive side and got feynlabs self heal plus on mine. But you can do self heal lite as well. Or go with the super hard stuff like Kenzo or opticoat pro plus or something similar. Edit: Added some photos.
  19. I don't have a tune on mine. But I average a little over 17 in the city and 31-33 on the interstate depending on temperature and wind and such. I run 91 pure gas from the shell station down the street.
  20. For the longest time it was mandatory premium he 100 percent gas but it was only 91 octane. They have since started moving away from it so we are getting more and more 91 w/ ethanol. Shell and BP still have pure gas in their premium grades though.
  21. little late to the party but it will take several tanks for the computer to compensate for the fuel unless you use forscan to reset what it has learned. The car will pull timing to prevent detonation. Anytime it detects Detonation it will pull timing and it probably won't add it back once it pull it. I noticed a hell of a difference from the 87 octane the dealer filled it up with and then the 91 pure gas after resetting the computer. She only gets premium and only Shell or BP.
  22. Hey Kevin, The bolts are torx. I went and bought a small set of torx sockets from harbor freight. I don't remember the exact size but they were like 6 of them in the kit. Cost me like 9 dollars. Good luck and if you can't find them let me know and I'll go dig them out and give you the exact size when I get a chance. - Kyle
  23. That's how I felt too. The 14 speaker didn't seem as balanced. It's a great system but it seems harsh in the high end. My 20 speaker Ultima seems more balanced but I still do take the treble down a notch or 2 depending on what I'm listening too.
  24. It's the 20 speaker system. It sounds amazing but the rear sunshade vibrates on the rear deck and the rear deck vibrates on the glass. It's pretty shitty. It wasn't that bad in the beginning but the other night we were listening to Warren G regulate and it was rattling at level 8. That's not acceptable.
