Thanks for the response! I have a great response with the dealership. I may give them a call soon to see what they say.

I had the struts & mounts replaced about 5k miles ago in the rear under warranty. I'm past the factory warranty, but within the CPO. I have a new squeak in the left rear that sounds vaguely familiar to the strut mounts being bad. If I press on the left rear corner, I can replicate it. Still firm strut. Should this be covered under the previous warranty repair, or is this a $100 deductible issue?

2016 MKZ Sync 2 - Apple CarPlay Software & USB Hub Update
IDMACD replied to BigSav 01's topic in Audio, Navigation and SYNC
Howdy Big Sav. You would need the APIM & screen from a Sync 3 vehicle. Costs about $600. Add another $100 for programming, and another $100 for hub and GPS antenna. -
Best trailer hitch to purchase ?
IDMACD replied to 2015Reserve's topic in Accessories and Modifications
Howdy. If you have the 3.7L, I say you're fine. However, if you have the 2.0L, I'll advise you to pass on a hitch, and rent a truck and trailer. The stress on the tranny is not worth it. -
3.0T Lincoln MKZ Engine Disassembly

Help me understand why this is not a dealership/warranty issue . . . -
5,000 miles.

Swollen nuts you say?
-
Yup. I saw the same thing on the highway.

I saw a MKZ with the Amber Drl's today. I'm thinking they're not necessarily drl's, as-much as they are amber running lights, where drl's are either off, or not factory-enabled.

Replacing Display screen with Nav screen?

Chromebook is not Windows-based, so it's doubtful. Try it though. U never know. I'm wondering if u'll get the FTDI drivers to function. I just got another member good to go on Nav. He's pretty happy. -
Replacing Display screen with Nav screen?
IDMACD replied to tmf2004's topic in Audio, Navigation and SYNC
JRRoss- Are you doing the 4D upgrade, or did you source the parts yourself? -
Yes, update! The car is getting new tires, an alignment, and a software upgrade for the PCM/TCM. The work is complete, and is now over at the body shop awaiting the claims agent.
-
I had a MKX loaner with 25 miles on it! It wore me out driving it. I think I'm a car guy too.
-
Tires are getting replaced! So is the side of the car, lol. Got caught in a white-out on the highway in Michigan. Rode the guardrail.
-
Tony- Why would you need a new APIM? It's purely software upto '15. 2016+ requires a new APIM due to data storage.

The digital speedo shows in Kph, so I turned that back off. But, the TPMS works. I have full navigation working (which I love), and did a few other mods. -
Anybody else have a hard shift going from 2-3? I'm not talking about a subtle shift, I'm talking about a shift where you feel it in your whole body. Car is going back to the dealer soon, and will have them address this (possible TCM/PCM software upgrade).

They're matching! Same, cheap OHTSU tires all the way around. But, the concern is their wear. This is a CPO vehicle. Not a backlot used vehicle. I'm very upset. I filed a complaint with the Concierge. I'm to expect a call within two days.

First nice day in Michigan, and was able to wash the car. It was now evident that the tires are shot. Dry cracking in the treads. We'll see what Lincoln says.
