  1. If you really want a $50k MKZ, buy a year old one. They lose almost 34% in value in one year. Get a year or two old one for 35-36k and save 14k. https://carbuzz.com/news/these-are-the-fastest-depreciating-cars-that-you-can-buy
  2. Thank you, Myron. I agree with everything you wrote. Although, I'm not very encouraged by your personal experience. Hopefully, I have a little better luck. Don't worry, I'm not taking this out on the dealership. They've been great and I know they are nearly as frustrated as I am.
  3. Thank you, drolds1. Those are some very useful suggestions that I will try out!
  4. Yes, I am aware that it takes time, however, it's been 4 weeks since the order was placed and it still hasn't been scheduled or anything. That doesn't seem normal.
  5. Thanks, fusionff! Looked it up and came back with no results. Very upsetting!
  6. I don't have a VIN yet. Does it work with just an order number? The link didn't work for me.
  7. The order for my MKZ was entered on Nov 16 and today is Dec 15. I'm still being told that the order hasn't been processed by Lincoln and therefore the build hasn't been scheduled yet. Is this normal and expected? I'm completely frustrated and astonished by the inefficiency! The last car I ordered came from Europe and the longest part of the process was the transport. I'm seriously considering canceling at this point.
