Mine updates off the WiFi as well. I added a WiFi extender between the router and garage to get a better signal there. I agree the map thing is ridiculous, especially since the $100 update is also out of date and useless.

Same here, I only have 32K on mine and got the ESP so I'll be driving it for a long time. After that who knows. I guess we'll have some exclusivity!

Thanks again, snow isn't really a consideration since I'll use the other AWD vehicle or work from home in that case. Likewise, I don't want to go all-out summer performance.

I'll ask the dealer at the next service, but I doubt they'll understand it or be able to reproduce the issue. They have a very "Ford" level of service if you know what I mean.

I have the Michelin Primacy MXM4 on the optional 19" rims, and they're in need of replacement. They've been a great tire, I rarely drive in snow and most of my driving is interstate with some twisty local back roads thrown in where I tend to drive aggressively. I have the 2.0FWD. Are other seeing about the same tread life on these? Any recommendations for different brands? It's going to run me about a grand for a set mounted and balanced.

I have zero interest in a BEV so anything with Mach-E or Rivian is a non-starter. Hopefully we'll see one or two sedans carry on.

I think the 14 speaker Revel system goes well below 50hz, based on some FLAC rips I have. It's not theater-level power down there, but I believe it's actually pretty accurate.

The 2.0T has a bit of a tapping sound from outside the car at idle. The sound of mine hasn't changed since new and I don't see how it could. From inside it's a soft growl. It's a sweet motor.

I have Verizon Fios internet and they provide a phone app that monitors devices coming on and off the wireless network. Kind of cool to see the "Sync" device pop on to the network when the car is parked in the garage. Also a good way to ensure the car is checking in for updates.

Mine has noise cancelation to get rid of engine sounds, I find it hard to believe Lincoln would be adding them to any vehicle.

Sync 4 looks pretty cool. I wonder if it will be released for Sync 3 hardware?

I'm 58, and I had no problem understanding the functionality of the onboard modem and app. Maybe put in a little effort? I agree that outdated nav is pretty bad.

The gas killed the ignition coils?

Mine came down over Wi-Fi. I can say that the bug that makes the wrong station display in the center of the display isn't fixed. Nothing else noticeable.

Correct. I-95 and the turnpike did not intersect until recently. 95 used to continue north to the river at Yardley PA. Compare the image below to what's in the Lincoln nav.

That's pretty lame that the latest update doesn't know where frickin' I-95 is.

I would hope that it included it based in the planned opening date of the new interchange. That's a major miss if it's not there.
