It appears to be the seat, I am able to replicate it by moving back and forth in the driver seat but it appears to be only in certain positions.

The car did pull to the left when braking quickly.

Today while driving to work the noise was happening even at 30-40 mph but just while picking up speed or slowing down. I only started hearing this two days ago after rolling down the rear driver side window and the noise seems to be coming from that area.

The sound is faint and it sounds like pop pop pop when braking, I sometimes hear it when accelerating from a stop. It sounds like it's coming from the rear of the car but it doesn't sound louder with the window down. There isn't a problem braking and the car is a 2008 mkz.
