  1. I dug out my other remote that I have not used in the time I've had the car (2 years). Didn't work. Battery is dead. I looked in the manual and it says that the remote takes a CR2032 battery. I have one of those. Like 2 sizes too small. The battery that was in it is a perfect fit with a CR2450. Either the manual is wrong or I have remotes that didn't come with the vehicle. Not that it makes a difference. They both work.
  2. Mine did this a couple of times since I've had it. All I did was wave it around like you then it would work. Maybe interference from your phone? Probably just a one time thing (for this month anyway).
  3. Sometimes mine works, sometimes not. I always glance backward whenever I go in reverse. It helps stretch out my back. I know that when I back out of driveway and onto the road, every time I back out to the right, the alarm comes on telling me there is an obstacle on the left side of the car, when there isn't anything there.
  4. Low on oil is not a good thing. At least you checked it. Now you can get a battery and oil change. Hopefully, that is all you need right now.
  5. Why is a female mind so clean? They are constantly being changed.
  6. Without really wracking my brain, eh hem, I'm starting to believe it was my '13 that it happened to. In a thread from a previous year, I stated I was heading south and miscalculated from where I filled up and when I left. I just about coasted into a station in Balt ( I started in Albany, NY) when I realized I was even below empty, running on fumes. That is where I filled up with 93 octane. And every time I stopped along I95, the car had problems with acceleration. So, it must have been gas or just crap from the tank making it's way into the filter. It never did it again. And I do not care about HP. I just want the best mpg so I don't need to stop as often.
  7. Now, that I think about it, I'm not sure if it happened in my '13 or the '17. And it may have happened twice. I'm heading to the Land of Make Believe (R2D2 country) soon and would rather not take the chance. Manual suggests 87, and that's what I've been using.
  8. Dunno about the 3.0, but I thought only 89 octane was to be used. Or is that just the hybrid? I remember I used 93 for a trip, and the car jerked and coughed until I could get up to speed on a highway.
  9. Oh, so it's people like you who wouldn't let me merge onto 287 from 87.
  10. Lemme guess. Are they the ones who are just shy of the century mark, driving alone, and wearing a mask?
  11. So, you can see what's inside without a temperature change causing any embarrassment. Brilliant. No, strike that. Double-D brilliant. Can I patent that idea?
  12. As you get older, you will find that getting better mileage helps on the stress of getting out of the car to fill up the tank. Less times = less bone creak. As for high speed merge? Who cares? Most of the other cars ahead of you are poking along anyway. That is, unless you're near NYC/Joisey. Those drivers are all bastards.
  13. When will I ever learn NOT to put my sunglasses in the overhead console when it's hot, and then, take them out and attempt to wear them? HOT, HOT HOT!!!!
  14. I'm thinking it's a Sync issue. Waze goes batty when I change 'source' for entertainment; esp when I stop playing something from external (usb) source. It's not my phone (Verizon) cause when I also had an ATT phone at the same time, AA did the same thing. Bought an extended warranty and need to have oil change in a couple of weeks. Gotta time it when their Lincoln tech is there. He's not there every day.
  15. Just saw that. And just did that. Now I am contemplating jumping to version 3.4. Don't know if I want to take the chance tho.
  16. Site tells me I need an update. However, I already have the most recent update; SYNC3 v3.0.19205. We'll see.
  17. My Sync has been wonky anyway. Really slow to load. And using the maps on the phone there is no problem.
  18. Mine has been messed up since Feb. Waze and Gobble Maps freeze up. Especially when I change entertainment sources. When it does, I have to unplug from the usb port for AA to reset. I get no notifications from Waze if I am listening to an external drive. And, with Waze, if I put in directions, the map itself jumps all over. I think Sync is messed up. Coming up on an oil change. I guess I'll have them do a diagnostic.
  19. Posted June 6 Autocorrect strikes again.? My universal translator must not be working. It can't figure out what you said either.
  20. No 'protesters' in the background? The grill is crooked. Looks like there is a piece missing. But, then again, the whole front end is off. Take it back and have them fix it. May have been in an accident.
