  1. Detached garage. Keys are at least 50-100 feet away. As for the welcome lighting, when I went into the garage a bit later with the fob and the car doors locked, the lights did not come on until I touched the handle.
  2. Well, the ghosts are back again. I came home about 8:30pm. The lights came on 10 minutes later at 8:40, then also at 8:48, 9:01, and 9:16. I never asked the dealer about it cause they hadn't gone on by themselves since I posted originally. One thing that I'm curious about. I had stopped off for food pick up and noticed that the outside lights were on as if the car was started. Since I never leave it running unattended, I was thinking if I accidentally started it. I was inside the business near a large window but only about 15' from the car. When I moved away from the window a couple of feet, the lights went off. When I moved near the window again, they went back on. This happened a couple of times until it didn't do it again. So, not really sure how or when the lights are supposed to go on, I just went near the locked car in my garage and the lights did not come on when I approached. I even remote started it, and the lights came on as they usually do. I guess it's time to make the appointment. If there is a problem, would it be covered under the Premium Care extended warranty? And I just looked at the app. I just put 10 gals of gas in. App says fuel level is 0%. But, that shouldn't surprise anyone. At least anyone in... ANTARCTICA??? It's gonna be cold in upstate King Cuomoland, but not THAT cold.
  3. No need to open the door. It's a sieve. Plenty of air exchange thru the door since they are 40 years old and are basically just hanging. Unattached garage.
  4. 2 things: 1. What is the 'battery saver' thing? 2. What I've discovered about the spinning wheel on the app is that it goes off when the car runs past it's time to shut off when started remotely. So, I'm thinking to the other poster who said it was spinning while driving (looking at your phone while driving? Ummmm.) is I'm wondering if it was still spinning while within that remote start time window. I have mine set at 15 minutes. And my car does start remotely when using the app cause I have a camera in my garage and I check it to make sure it starts. Why I use the app at all I have no idea. Just as easy to use the fob.
  5. Going from my dashcams, I believe those ports stay active for about 30 minutes after the car is shut down. I think this was brought up previously when I discovered that my cameras still ran when I was already out of the car for a while.
  6. Yes. They are one of my biz customers so I see them a lot.
  7. Looked at my camera 'alerts'. It happened 4 times on the 8th: 2:25 am, 2:30 am, 7:38 pm, and 8:03 pm. I didn't have the camera on last night, so don't know if it happened again. I'll be putting it out again today, so I'll know if the 'others' are back and trying to tell me something. ??
  8. I never keep the keys in the car. They are in the house. Same place I always have them. No one is near them. As for someone in the garage, I also have a motion activated light that comes on if any movement is detected, and that light is not on when the car lights up. Unfortunately, I accidentally formated the sd card so I do not know if the car started. As I've said, this is very recent. 3, maybe 4, times in the past 2 days. As for spirits: This is in the room where my mother passed away in 2004. redo spirits.mp4
  9. I have a security camera in my garage. It told me of an 'event'. This has happened a couple of times this week. Lights come on all of a sudden. This is at 2:30 am. The days of me coming in at that hour are loooong over. On this particular night, it also happened at 2:25 am. Is the car trying to do an update? Or my deceased parents trying to tell me something? lites.mp4
  10. I have the Auto Hold but I hardly ever use it. If I have it engaged, I may accidentally tap the accelerator and the car will start moving. I think it is rather dangerous because of the ease with which the accelerator can be touched.
  11. To definitely know, you need to have FM radio on. If it's not on, you won't get the tab in settings. 1. Go to Settings (button all the way to the right on the bottom of the home screen) 2. Go to Radio (2nd row, lower left) 3. Top of menu it should say FM HD (not sure exactly what it says). Slide the button to the right. Of course IMHO, there isn't anything worth listening to on local radio. That's why God made portable hard drives and audiobooks.
  12. I just received an offer in the mail about 3 months free. Not gonna do it, tho. Like others have said, the compression makes my head want to explode, even when it's only talk radio.
  13. I don't need to go into any menus. As long as I am in the "Display/Trip" section of the left side display (which I have on all of the time because it displays everything I want to know), there are 7 different displays. Scroll thru to get to tire pressure. Page 109-110 of the manual. However, I am thinking there may be different displays and menus depending on having a hybrid or not. I have the '17 hybrid.
  14. All I need to do on my '17 is push up or down on the left side of the steering wheel til you get to the pressure reading. There are 5 or 6 different displays that you scroll thru.
  15. If you have Android Auto, you can add stations to AA. I use the TuneIn app and get a bunch of stations. Some are commercial free internet radio. Just gotta search. Just do not do it while driving. Been there, done that. BIG mistake.
  16. I remember a thread a while back about buying an aftermarket camera that fit in that area of the mirror.

    Front Seats

I saw this picture. I'm wondering if this a 'fleet' car.

    Front Seats

Does anyone know if the 2020s have cooled front seats? On my '17, it states on the window sticker "Heated/Cooled", but I do not see that on the '20's.
  19. Try doing a "reset of media index" or whatever the terminology is. When you have something on the device playing, go to Settings on the home screen. There should be a button for Media Player. Scroll down and you will see something about resetting index. I've had to do this a few times. Depending on how many files you have, it may take a while. It doesn't tell you it's doing it, but will tell you when it's done. The notifications on screen are quick and you might miss them. Give it a shot.
  20. Not to hijack the thread, but, when the battery is replaced, does some kind of reset need to always be done?
  21. Still, tho, the battery that is listed in the manual is a lot smaller than the one that fits snug. So, "CR2032 or equivalent." is not exactly right if the one that fits is a CR2450. The 2032 may still work, but it would slide around inside the fob.
  22. Bought it used. Also, I thought you could start the car by placing the remote in the center console. I didn't see it in the manual. May have been for the '13 I used to have.
