I'm also surprise that cluthfield could not help you.
If the tweeter is not damage no need to replace it if you use wire harness 72-5602 with your new aftermarket speakers.
Cluthfield has them and also Amazon just search online and there are more places that have them.
Hope this help.

Ok, I went in to get the Driver Side Temp Blend Control Motor replaced and the Tech stated that it would take 4-5 hrs for approximately $400.
I did not have the time so, I recall seeing a video that mentioned if the left side is not cooling it could also be related to low freon not making it to that side of the evaporator.
Well, I went to my local WalMart and picked up a can of R134 (Super Tech Premium $35), added approximately 2-3 ounces from the 18oz. can and tada! Cold air from all vents again!
I took the $47 part back to the dealer for a full refund.

Got the amp, capacitor, and the subs installed. It took me a while but finally finished. Very pleased with the outcome.

Answer for future readers.
On my 2016 MKZ, production date 11/15, the hinge pin does NOT look like the picture above by jmcgliss. Mine is a small diameter keyed plastic pin that presses into a plastic sleeve with blind end. So there is nothing you can put a cotter pin into. Fortunately my pin had backed out part way but was not broken.
As far as removing the pocket assembly from the car:
1. Take out the wheel and fender liner, remove torx screw holding fuel pipe. You need the pipe loose.
2. Cut slits where there are little marks molded into the flange of the pocket. There are 4. I only needed to cut the upper and lower rear ones. Like shown on this Edge video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYxonwPwLks
Then pry with 2 small screwdrivers as shown in that video. Once it pops out at the back, you can use plastic pry bars like in my previous post. You may or may not crack the plastic when doing this. I cracked only one spot, not too bad and chose to reuse the pocket. This is clearly Ford's intention for removal. It's also shown in a factory manual for another Lincoln product. In that factory manual they do say it will be damaged and needs to be replaced. With care and luck you may be able to save it. I did.
3. Tape all adjacent painted surfaces so you don't scratch them. From the back side, release the large rubber surround from the surrounding sheetmetal. Then carefully wiggle the pocket around to free it from the filler pipe and slide it out. There is barely enough room and you may have to tinker around a bit.
4. If your hinge pin is like mine and has backed out, remove it completely by gently wiggling it as you pull it out by hand. Mark the clocking of the slot in the receiving sleeve as it's harder to see later. Then press the pin back in using a clamp. A Bessey DuoKlamp or similar one-handed clamp is ideal for this. Use it gently. Mine took a bit of force to press back in so will probably be fine for a long time. Clearly if yours is loose going in you may want to put some superglue on it or something so it doesn't back out again.
5. Reassemble in reverse order.
Sorry no pictures.

For the subwoofer I had two enclosure made for two 12's on the rear side panels.
For the power cable I used a 4 gauge cable and tried to find a spot before drilling but that was the
only option that at least i could find. Hopefully If you find a better way let us know for future reference
for someone else who would like to install subs.

Purchased my 2017 Lincoln MKZ Reserve AWD 2.0L Turbo used from a Ford Lincoln dealer in mid July 2021. Really enjoying the car but missing the nice Weather! Thought I would post a few pics. I did drive it through Winter but not very much as there were not many places to go with the beer bug around! ? Pictures are from July 2021 all washed up. Parking lot picture is from about a month ago after running it through the car wash. Needed to get all the salt and grime off it! Not to bad for a 2017!
My actual Spring/Summer street/strip car is under the cover! ? Will include a pic of me with it not under cover but at the track. My 2003 Mach 1 5 speed with darn near every upgrade for normally aspirated engine (NA). Heads, intake, cams, ported + polished. Complete suspension upgrades, drag shocks/struts, springs, tubular k member, Moser axels, 4:56 gears, Detroit Tru track diff, rev limiter for launching, all welded underneath with full length sub frames, aluminum drive shaft with loop, line lock, drag rims and slicks and more! Bought the Mach brand new in 2003 and been making it faster each year. You name It has probably been done! Wanted to keep it NA and go fast ?
The Weather lately...Darn near white out conditions yesterday, -2C/28F and now today 12C/53F! No snow today but blowing with gusts at 90kms/55 mph! Crazy! Happy motoring to all!
