Hello mkz313 I have a14 with the 11 speaker system. The way I did mines using a LC7i I tap in to the speaker wires before the OEM AMP leaving the plug out to feed the LC7i which would connect to a 4 channel AMP. Then from the OEM AMP output unplug the speaker wires and tap from there to connect to the 4 channel AMP. The fun part programing the Sync 3 APIM using FORScan. It actually wasn't that hard. Here is what was in the Sync 3 APIM. Changes I had to make was the ford logo to the Lincoln logo. Thing I added was cooled and heated seats, volume indicator, and ambient light icon in the settings. You really don't have to change all the values in the Sync 3 APIM only the necessary ones. Finally broke the piggy bank. I know there are some kits out there to convert from Sync 2 to Sync 3 from 1400 on 4D tech and around 600 on eBay. But that was a little pricey for me. Found one from a 2019 F-350 the APIM, Screen, and HD radio on eBay for 299. Now the screen from the F-350 wont fit the MKZ but it will fit my wife's Explorer which I will try to find just the APIM for the explorer. So I found a screen from a 2019 MKC for 140 on eBay and got it. Got the GPS antenna on Amazon for 9.99 and got a single USB and a Double USB module port from a junker for 8.00. Took out my Sync 2 APIM and screen from my MKZ and used the brackets which was modified to fit on the sync 3 APIM and installed it with the GPS antenna and the USB port.

I'm not 100% sure but I would say yes it should have a new ID and it should show on the screen. If that's the case you call Sirius and let them know that you had to replace the radio and they should be able to transfer the signal.

Hi Dincon, If you are looking for a specific fuse the manual has what is each fuse in the box. If you need to check if a fuse is blown best way is to take the fuse out with a needle nose pliers and you would have to sit on the floor outside the car and stick your hand with the pliers underneath the dash. By sitting on the floor you would be able to see what your doing. Hope this helps.

I have a 14 which I added two 12's and it didn't affect it.

Mine was done at the beginning of this year. Never notice any issue before the repair but still it was done. So far no issue after the repairs.

Mufflers installed at Kinney's muffler shop Fort Worth. Did not go with the tips I had because didn't like the space that it had without the frame.

Hello Artie My factory radio is not THX, The OEM amp only has the four outputs for each of the door speakers which I connected to the high and mids of the LC7I and used the rear deck output which control the bass of the system to the bass input of the LC7I.
