  1. The factory amps are going to go in accordance with the speakers that come with it. Even if you add speakers form a Mustang or a Nautilus like TomV said it is not going to sound louder, even if you add an aftermarket speaker like JBL or Infinity it wont sound louder all you have is better quality speakers.
  2. All four doors are 4ohms 25w the rear deck are 2ohms 28w And all four doors are 6.5 This is for the basic model
  3. He finished all four doors and this is how it came out much better now than with all that rust.
  4. I have a 2014 MKZ and all 4 doors have rust on the seams. Took it to a shop for repairs and this is how it looks like after taking a piece off the seam. He is going to fix it but he told me that in the future I might have to replace the doors. When that happens I'll just trade it in.
  5. I'm also surprise that cluthfield could not help you. If the tweeter is not damage no need to replace it if you use wire harness 72-5602 with your new aftermarket speakers. Cluthfield has them and also Amazon just search online and there are more places that have them. Hope this help.
  6. Hey do you still have the pictures of how you ran your door speakers to the amp I have a 14 also

Hello, I what I did was I disconnected the plug from the OEM amp in the trunk that has the speaker wires and tap in to it.

I could not find a way to pass new wires on the doors.

  7. I'm doing great hope you are too. For the ground I used the screws from the rear seat seatbelt was the only place I could find. Not sure for the THX but the basic system it has one amp for the door speakers which does not produce no bass so the speakers will never suffer. There is a second amp for the 6X9 which has the bass and yes the higher the volume the less bass but if you tap into the ^6X9 for the aftermarket amp it should produce the bass you looking for.
  8. You do not need to remove your factory 6X9 subwoofer just tap in to them to feed the aftermarket amp with a high to low adapter.
  9. The way I did mine was pulling the liner down and sticking my hand through it to put it in place from the back side. Hope this helps.
  10. Here is the wheel sizes by the year for the Taurus just scroll down the page. https://wheelssize.com/wheels/ford/taurus/ This is for the MKZ so you can compare. https://wheelssize.com/wheels/lincoln/mkz/
  11. What I did was I copied the FCIM program from mine before I took it out using Forscan and installed it in the new one. Any buttons that my car didn't have wont work the rest will.
  12. Hello Jakek I have a 2014 and I replaced my fcim with one from a 2019. The only thing you would have to do is add those two triangle pieces to the side trims because there will be a space of that shape right there.
