  1. I took delivery of a 2017 MKZ and have observed some of the same issues with what appears to be rattles or popping noises from the headliner area and around the rear doors. I worked in the high end audio automotive business years back and was paid good money to alleviate rattles. From what I see it's actually the trim on the outside of the doors along with the rubber seals where the doors meet the body. You made mention that it usually occurs on cooler days when the plastics/rubber is not as flexible. Go to your local auto parts store and purchase silicone lubricant preferably grease and place a small amount on the rubber seals everywhere you can on the doors, trim, etc.. This will help with the contact between plastics, and rubber along with rubber touching metals. If you look closely you will find that the car has this type of lubricant on many of the rubber gaskets from the factory.
  2. Getting screeching sound from speakers in 2017. Dealer reprogrammed the DSP twice now the vehicle's interior noise is much louder. Can someone tell me where the DSP,ANC or anything pertaining to the ANC is located? My reason for asking is simply that I don't trust what the local dealer is telling me regarding repairs made to the vehicle. One more question, can the dealer utilize ISP to disable the ANC feature?
  3. Took delivery of 2017 Black Label MKZ 3.0T AWD and noticed on the third day the Revel sound system was making a horrific screeching sound. I took the vehicle back to the dealer and they indicated they reprogrammed the DSP module. 24hrs later the same noise appeared once again. By this time a had gotten Lincoln America involved and they had me take the car to another Lincoln dealer. The issue prior to me taking the vehicle to the dealer occurred four times. The second dealer kept the car for four days and indicated that they could not duplicate the issue. I picked the vehicle up and immediately noticed that the interior noise was louder than before. I really think they have turned off the Active Noise Control on the vehicle without my consent. I really feel the ANC was the culprit with this entire feedback noise coming from the Revel system. Is there a way to turn this feature off and on or is it something the dealer has to do using ISP programming? This entire ordeal is really making me not a proud owner of this car, Themponyboys.
