  1. Thank you! I'm very happy with how it's turning out. I'm starting the interior and sound system soon. Having the A pillars, visors and headliner done in black alcantara with red stitching, as well as the seats with diamond pattern inserts (like the Bentley's but maintaining the factory patterns of the Lincoln seats) and completely restitched with red stitching.
  2. Izzy..I just finished installing mine and your post helped me alot. I had to dremel some plastic on the passenger side but other than thatm this mod was very easy and looks really good. Thanks for your help.
  3. Thanks so much for your comment. I've worked hard to get it to this point and I'm definitely not finished.
  4. Thank you so much for posting this. I just recently ordered my puddle lights based on your previous posts and now I know exactly how to modify the passenger side when mine come in.
  5. I did 20's on mine. 20x8 and 235/40/20 Toyo tires. No problems with rubbing at all and the ride is very close to the factory 18's. Check out my post in photo/video.
  6. You'll love the R3. make sure you update the firmware when you get it. It helps a lot with the false alerts on blind spot monitoring systems on cars. This one has alerted me when there was an officer 2 miles away, very impressive unit. If you're on the fence about whether to go with the BlendMount I'd say definitely do it. In order to get the best range on the detector you need to mount it that high and the cigarette lighter adapter is great but it WILL swing and touch the buttons on your dash. BlendMount doesn't make the bracket for the R3 yet but the Radenso one fits just fine and I haven't had any problems with it at all. Thank you. I originally got them with 35 series tires and i wasn't happy with the fender gap and I also wanted a thicker tire to protect the wheels better. I'm glad I went with this choice because it fills the gap just right and helped noticeably with the ride. Very small difference compared to the factory 18's but well worth it.

  8. Hi guys. I haven't been on here in a while, just very busy with work and school. I posted a while back when I got my MKZ wrapped. Here are some updated photos of my MKZ with the new wheels I put on it. They are 20x8 Lexani Wraith wrapped in 245/40/20 Toyo's. I also have a Uniden R3 on a BlendMount on the rear view mirror that is tapped into the mirror harness so it comes on with my ignition. This is by far the best one I've had and I came from an Escort 9500IX. Next for the car I'm going to have a system put in and a custom box with 2 JLw6 10's in the trunk. I'm replacing all the door speakers with JL Audio components and I'll be eliminating the center channel as well as the rear deck speakers. This will help make for better staging throughout the car. I'm also adding an AudioControl DM-608 DSP to help with that. Thanks for checking out my post and let me know if I can answer any questions about my ongoing build.
  9. hey thanks for the nice comment. This is something I had a local shop do. It's the only shop I'd trust to do my cars. They did my friends Tesla Model S in Xpel and blacked out all his trim. For the wrap, which included the roof in gloss black and all the lights on the back and sides it was just under $3,000. It comes with a 1 year warranty on the work itself, as far as peeling up or bubbling, anything like that and 3yr on the material itself. Thanks
  10. I have the exact same mount and the kit to wire it directly. Do you know which wires were tapped into for power & ground? Thanks
  11. Thanks. The wrap is 3M dark satin grey. I almost got some aftermarket wheels but I'm happy with how these stayed...for now lol. I wanna do the Sync 3 upgrade next.
  12. Hello, I just bought an MKZ hybrid and I'm glad I found this forum. I look forward to learning from and meeting everyone here. I just got my car wrapped and will be doing more to it soon. Here are a couple photos of the wrap. Thanks
