Thanks! I made 2 new post about my mkz. 2009 MKS 20 inch rims on my 2007. And 2012 front clip (in-process) on my 2007. Stay tuned.

So today i figured i have alot of time in my hands and parts. So why not take my 2007's front clip off and slap a 2012 clip on! I have the complete front clip off a 2012 just sitting on my backyard. Hood fenders, inner fenders, bumper, grilles, bumper inserts, fogs, radiator support and everything needed. Has anyone ever done this. Im curious about the outcome. Im not loosing anything in case i come in to some sort of problem i can just slap the old clip back. I will be posting pics of process.

I have just mounted the rear ones because i am getting smaller thinner tires up front to avoid any rubbing or scrapping. Also because im doing a 2012 front clip conversion. I have the parts from my wrecked mkz so why not.

So today i got a hold on a set of 2009 20 inch MKS rims and tires and tried on my 2007 MKZ and didnt fit. I bought a set of 1/4 inch spacer and whalaa they look amazing. I grinded off just about 1/16 of the center bore on the rim just to be on the safe side. Planning on powder coating them black, leaving the center cap chrome and ordering a set of chrome lug nuts.
