  1. It definitely Had to do with the hybrid In the MKZ But they never actually were able to figure out what it was. The first car I had to take him to the shop every two weeks with a completely dead battery and the second car was exactly the same. I went through this for a total of 10 months until I demanded that I get a different car to finish out my lease that was not a mkz. If they had been able to exactly tell me that it was the hybrid issue I would’ve asked for a non-hybrid MKZ But after two cars and all the constant issues and stress I wasn’t willing to risk it.
  2. Well if the service department was lazy then Lincoln corporate was lazy as well as the issue went all the way to the top. Not only once but twice. At one point I even became a guinea pig where they basically had a heart monitor if you will on the car looking for any type of battery drain and let me drive around for two weeks waiting for the issue to happen again. The issue did happen again and the monitor never picked anything up. Hence why am very skeptical
  3. I ultimately had to give away the MKZ. I had the same problem with 2 cars. And they never could figure out why. The dealership and Lincoln ultimately gave me a 2017 MKC which I love. Never had one issue with the car in the last 10 months. So the only thing I can come to conclusion on is there some definite battery issue with some of the 2017 MKZ models and they either didn’t want to confirm it or are not talking about it. Really sucks because I really really loved the MKZ And I really needed a car with great mileage. My lease is up in two years and I’m not against trying again but obviously have a little bit of PSD regarding the whole situaction.
  4. My issue isn't when the car just sits. I literally drove it 50 miles , parked and 7 hours later it was dead for no reason. 2nd Lincoln in 4 months as they lemon lawed the first and now same problem with new one. The service manager is either completely lying and there is a recall coming or they are REALLY stumped
  5. What size battery did you put in? I am having an issue similar. My car dies after a week to completely dead for no reason. The dealer even replaced my car under lemon law and now the new one is doing the same!! MKZ 2017 hybrid
  6. This is the 2nd car I have gotten in 4 months. They lemon lawed the first one and now the new one is doing the same thing. I'm truly at a loss and they literally cannot figure it out either.
  7. Guys I need help! I have a 2017 MKZ hybrid with a major battery issue. The car dies every 5 to 6 days to a complete rock. No power at all. Have to have it jumped. I've checked the battery and the cells are good. Dealer has actually relaxed the car with a new one and after a month the new one did the same thing. I need help! Anyone else had this happen?
