  1. I have a 2017 with both packages. If I had to choose one I would go with the Driver’s package. The carbon fiber in the interior, seats, painted calipers, wheels, and darker grill make for a unique vehicle. In addition, the all wheel drive system is an upgraded torque vectoring unit for better performance in turns. Whatever choice you make, you are getting a great car. Best of luck. Post some pics when you pick it up.
  2. Nice. Looks good. So it’s a little lighter in color than the 2017 blue?
  3. I agree to each his own. But do feel a nice sounding exhaust would be better spent money and get more attention if that is the goal.
  4. Tires are one of the most important parts on a vehicle and there is definitely a big difference in noise, handling, and traction between new and worn.
  5. Thanks Ira. Is this going to update automatically via WiFi for me at some point?
  6. Best of luck! What are you going with instead?
  7. I totally agree. Heavy, and with a 3.0l small displacement engine.
  8. Darkstar makes a pretty sweet looking cold air intake for the Z.
  9. This is seriously impressive! Nice work darkstar!! And at 8,000 ft DA. Is there even oxygen in the air under those conditions? Lol. This 3.0l engine is a beast.
  10. Great times and wins! Did you have a chance to talk to the drivers of the Mustang and Camaro? What were people saying about the Continental beating up on pony cars? I want to get to the track! Hoping to go on October 7.
  11. That is a big improvement! What is next on your list?
  12. That's impresssive. I get 16+ in mostly city driving with a 93 performance tune and spirited driving. Not sure on highway alone, but I am pleased with the mileage to performance ratio.

Thumbs up. It will make people think a little about what is going on when they see it.
  14. You do some nice work! More pics and details please!!
  15. Had some fun with the ATS-V today. We did a pull with both cars placed in third. The results.... The Z held its own quite well! No clear winner. The tuned MKZ pulls very hard in the upper rpms. More testing later this year at the drag strip. 400 extra pounds, an engine that is down 0.6 liters and with an older generation transmission. Can't say enough how pleased I am with this car. Best vehicle I have owned in a long time. And I have had a few fun cars from 5.0 liter Mustangs, to an M3, to a Grand Cherokee SRT8. The one area he got me good was the second to third shift. We were neck and neck and then he grabbed a car length on me as we both shifted. He can do no lift shifts in his. Livernois firm shift tune will be uploaded soon and I will have at it again.
  16. Ok no problem. Thanks for the reply. Looks great in blue with the dark tint!
  17. Good to know. So I shouldn't be too worried. I have about 1,600 miles on the car right now. Might I be smelling something from initial break in with the exhaust?
  18. No. Just around town. I like the feeling of stretching each gear out a little further than what the car would shift on its own. I think you are right in that it was overheating the fluid a bit. Everything shifts fine so I don't think I did any damage. Thank you for the tip and link on checking the fluid. I'm going to feel it out more driving in auto and if all seems well will just use manual as it was intended which is for occasional spirited driving and going downhill.
  19. I was driving all day in Sport and manual mode. Anyone else use manual that much?
