  1. I seem to be finding that starting with the Lincoln Way app results in things working more as they should with heated steering wheel and seats warming things up. I have climate and seats set to Auto in settings. I started the car this evening with the key fob and came out to air conditioned seats until I pressed the engine start button. At that point heated seats and steering wheel were back on as when I had shut the car off previously.
  2. I love my Livernois tune and have had no issues.
  3. Looks great! Don’t sell it!
  4. I had to get to the office this morning in whiteout conditions with 6 inches of snow on some roads. My 2017 3.0T Driver’s Package AWD and 19” all season tires did a fantastic job of providing grip to power through anything I came across. The best part is the car moved wth little drama of tire spin or sensations telling me systems were intervening. Very confidence inspiring. Of course, AWD does not help you stop, so drive slow and brake early.
  5. I’m 38 and do not think the Zephyr name has any value. I do hope they use nature to guide future naming decisions though. I really think they did great picking Nautilus. I feel it conveys a sense of strength and ability which goes well with an SUV.
  6. They may feel the Fusion name is not worth much in the market and want to provide for separation between the Fusion and the new vehicle. Hackett is revered as a good manager and I don’t think he is just going to cut 200,000+ (Fusion and MKZ) units in sales a year without a good game plan.
  7. I am waiting to see what the plan is here. They need to add Lincoln products, not cancel. Galhotra just hinted they don’t want to enter every segment, but there are a couple they will go into.
  8. Hang tight. It’ll be worth it especially if you went with the 3.0 AWD.
  9. I get about 15-16 city. 24 or so highway. Computer shows 17.5 average and that’s mostly city with spirited driving. Tuned 3.0 AWD. The car is FAST and worth every penny of gas.
  10. Jeff - you should definitely get the 3.0 AWD. Hrlinc on here ran a 13.0 at 107 completely stock on all seasons. A tune puts it into the 12s. 91 octane won’t make a huge difference.
  11. That is a great ad campaign. I like the Frankenstein theme. I’m born in ‘79 and heard of the 442, but not the W part.
  12. Thanks. Launch rpm definitely helped versus off idle. I have the all seasons too and a tune on top of it. I was hoping to get to the track this fall, but timing didn’t work out. Can’t wait to go in the spring. These great 1/4 mile postings always get me excited.
  13. Many thanks. It is making some power on the top end trapping at almost 107. Care to share any launch technique details? And are you on summer or all season tires?
  14. Strong runs! Thanks for sharing! Can you post some time slips? I would love to see the 60 ft times.
  15. I hear you. You can’t beat a great sounding Ford V-8! One of my favorite cars that I have owned will always be my ‘92 5.0L Mustang. That is a fantastic vehicle line up!!
  16. Great write-up thegab! Going from a manual rear wheel drive two door Roush Mustang to an automatic AWD sedan and one not developed for pure sport is a big change. Have you tuned your MKZ yet? If not, do it! Also, a louder exhaust would help this car out a lot. It would be nice to hear a little growl upon starting and spirited driving. If I wasn't leasing mine, I would want to install an intercooler, cold air intake, and exhaust.
  17. I hope to see a Blue Diamond on the road someday. I like it!
  18. Maybe if the numbers turn out to work in your favor. I doubt the 17 will be worth $10,000 less in six months though. And then you miss out on 6 months of 400hp/400 torque fun!
  19. Money is money and if you step up to the 2017 it will cost you more in the long run. However, the 2017 with 3.0T and Driver's package is a totally different machine than the base 2015 FWD. If you can afford it, get the 2017. You will NOT regret it!
  20. May 8, 2017. 2,808 miles. Love it!
  21. They can keep their bias. I’ll keep my hundreds of dollars less a month with more value dollar for dollar than the cars “ranked above” the MKZ. I’ll keep my 450+ hp tuned super comfortable and dynamic vehicle. I’ll keep enjoying getting into a unique car that rewards me with a great balance of features and performance.
